Looks like 2023 is bound to bring in several bundles of joy!
Of these 10 expectant mommas, some are soon-to-be first-time moms, while others are excited about the new addition to their growing family.
The common denominator? They are all positively glowing in their pregnancy!
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) rounds up these celebrity moms who are preparing to welcome their babies some time next year.
Iza Calzado
Iza Calzado first announced her pregnancy on her 40th birthday last August 12, 2022, two and a half years after she and Ben Wintle got married.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, Iza shared her holistic approach to have a healthy pregnancy experience: "Just make sure that you get enough sleep, you have good supplements.
"But again, no matter what your supplements are, if you're not taking care of your body that way, wala rin."

The actress also revealed that she continues to stay active throughout her pregnancy.
"I [also] keep moving... I was working out so much before the pregnancy. So, I'm still working out now, not as hard as I used to, but I keep moving because it's part of my life.
"It's also part of my mental health. You want to be of sound mind and spirit for the child."
Bianca King
Iza's sister-in-law, Bianca King-Wintle, is also set on becoming a first-time mom.
On August 20, 2022, Bianca announced that she and her husband Ralph Wintle are expecting their first child together.
At the time, Bianca was 15 weeks into her pregnancy.

The actress later related how her pregnancy journey has been: "It was a long journey to get here. It was not easy - being in our mid-late 30s. I mentally gave up and was about to do IVF. But surprise! A natural miracle happened.
"I thank my beautiful husband for setting me on the path to becoming a mama. Ralph is already the best dog dad, being so hands on with Willow. We both feel confident that we will be the best parents
"I hope our baby inherits his looks and athleticism [emoji] but my personality and creativity, and our shared wit and wisdom."
Jessy Mendiola
For celebrity couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano, their baby "Peanut" came to them as a surprise.
In an Instagram post uploaded on August 11, 2022, Jessy shared photos of the couple in Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel, Baguio City, along with the announcement that their church wedding will have to wait.

Jessy wrote, "We had planned for our church wedding this year but suddenly God gave us this wonderful blessing, proving time and again that God is the master planner.
"No matter what your plans are, HE has a divine plan for you, one that is definitely BETTER than what you have imagined. His plan is always the best.
“For now, our planned church wedding will have to take a backseat until our bundle of joy arrives. This is, by far, the best surprise we have received in our lives. Indeed, with God all things are possible."
Rita Daniela
Singer-actress Rita Daniela made a "life-changing revelation" during the "Queendom" segment of All-Out Sundays on June 26, 2022.
Her mom Rosanna Iringan was all praises for her daughter's courage to come out to the world about her unexpected pregnancy. Rita, at the time, had just been given female lead roles by her home network GMA-7.

In a letter to her unborn baby, Rita expressed: "You came just in time. You are God’s greatest gift to me.
"You give me hope to make more dreams COME true. I shall do anything and everything that’s best for you. Always. Nanay will always make sure that you have a heart for people and joy in the Lord.
"I can’t wait to meet you, anak. Ngayon pa lang, mahal na mahal na kita."
Danica Sotto-Pingris
Unlike the first three expecting moms on this list, Danica Sotto-Pingris is not new to motherhood. After almost 10 years, she and former PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) player Marc Pingris are expecting baby number three—a boy.

The couple confirmed their pregnancy through Marc's post on Father's Day last June 19, 2022: "Happy father’s day to me!!! Thank you Lord for another blessing! Sa lahat ng mga daddy, happy father’s day po sa inyo"
On her Instagram page, Danica also wrote, "Thank you Lord for our answered prayer. God has perfect timing.
"Never early, never late. It just takes a little patience and a whole lot of faith but it’s worth the wait."
Isabelle Daza
In a witty Halloween-themed post on November 5, 2022, Isabelle Daza revealed that she is carrying her third child with French husband Adrien Semblat.
The post showed her appearing as a "pregnant influencer" which meant inclusions of a "baby bump, ultrasound announcement photo, Apple Watch, athleisure leggings, and 'We're pregnant!' Pinterest sign."
In contrast, being a pregnant influencer does not include "10,000 steps, Baby Zen stroller, and nausea."
Isabelle and Adrien became parents on April 1, 2018, when they welcomed Balthazar Gabriel. They soon had their second child Valentin on April 9, 2021.
Roxanne Barcelo
A month after migrating to Taiwan, singer-actress Roxanne Barcelo and her family of three are ready to make their family bigger.
Together with husband Jiggs and their son Cinco, Roxanne announced in a YouTube vlog uploaded last September 15, 2022, that they are having another baby boy.

"We had such a wonderful full day here at Danshui and Jiggs really surprised us. It was so much fun. We had so much street food, yummy food. We went to these little shops. And I hope you guys enjoyed our little trip.
"I was just surprised at how beautiful this day was."
Turning the camera over to Jiggs, he revealed, "We're pregnant!"
Roxanne continued, "We're having our second baby boy in a few months! End of January! Thank you guys for joining us in this journey!"
Melissa Ricks
On August 25, 2022, actress-vlogger Melissa Ricks revealed on Instagram that she is pregnant with her second child—her first baby with her non-showbiz husband Michael Macatangay.

"'WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT, I, THE LORD, WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN.' ISAIAH 60:22," she wrote in the Instagram Reel where she made the announcement.
Melissa and Michael tied the knot in California, USA on May 23, 2021. The future mother-of-two also talked about wanting to hold a wedding in the Philippines.
LJ Moreno-Alapag
Actress LJ Moreno and husband, basketball player Jimmy Alapag, are ready to welcome their rainbow baby.
In an Instagram post, LJ wrote, "Not very many know but after we miscarried in 2020 we had another miscarriage last December 2021. We thought that would be the last pregnancy because of my age but God had other plans..."
On the same day, the family uploaded a vlog of the kids' reaction to the miraculous pregnancy.

"The reason why we kept it until at least I'm now almost 13 weeks, hinintay muna namin yung [first] trimester 'cause I actually had two miscarriages," she said.
"I actually had another miscarriage after the one nung before kami lumipat dito sa United States. I had another one just last year December, around December.
"Yun din, we kept it because our kids, especially si Kuya, sobrang sensitive, sobrang affected siya when I had my first miscarriage.
"So we wanted to make sure na sure muna before namin in-announce."
Antonette Gail Del Rosario
TikTok couple Antonette Gail Del Rosario and Whamos Cruz are about to become first-time parents.
They made the announcement on June 27, 2022.
Whamos, with over 12.5 million followers on the platform, shared his wish for his unborn son: "WAG MO SANA AKO MAKA MUKA BABY PARA DIKA MAKARANAS NG PANG LALAIT NG IBANG TAO."
The post, which has received almost half a million reactions as of writing, garnered supportive messages for the expecting couple.
