Bettina Carlos has a lot of realizations as her daughter Gummy celebrates her 12th birthday.
Gummy, whose full name is Amanda Lucia Carlos, turned 12 on March 7, 2023.
Bettina looked back on her daughter's childhood by watching a video that was created last year. In her Instagram post, the actress reflected on a particular portion that moved her to tears.
The clip in question started with the query, "Did we have a good childhood?"
To which her 12-year-old daughter replied, "Yes we did, a very happy one."

Bettina could not contain her emotions as she looked back at the time she spent raising Gummy alone.
In a lengthy post, she began (published as is), "For the 10years that I raised Gummy as a single mom, (and her being my first child-aka all the experiments, mistakes, trial and error kind of parenting) I’d worry if she’s truly happy (considering all the mom and daughter fights lalo na may hormones naaaa).
"So to see this video she made herself a few months back, iyak talaga meeee [emoji]
"To know that my child still considers she had a very happy childhood despite all (my shortcomings and hurts my mistakes caused her)… brought me relief (?)."
The list of realizations went on as Bettina thanked God for their current family set-up.
"I only have the Lord to thank for His Grace upon me, our relationship and our family," she wrote.
The mother-daughter duo officially welcomed Mikki Eduardo to the family, after Bettina married him in October 2020.
Together, they received their newest blessing Amina Elizabeth Eduardo, whom Bettina gave birth to on December 12, 2022.

Once again, the mother of two thanked the Lord for restoring her and Gummy's relationship after every argument.
"Kung wala ka sa mga buhay at puso namin, every fight is one that will pull us away farther and farther from each other…
"There will be no hope for true reconciliation or lasting restoration. But because of You, our relationships can be truly mended and strengthened.
"Ohhh to raise a teenage girl at this day and age!!!! Lamna hahaha hehehe," she wittily remarked.
To end her post, Bettina noted that celebrating her daughter's birthday was really a celebration of their faith in God.
"Thank you Lord that with all the mistakes, Your Grace is greater. With all the hurts, Your love is greater...
"Today we really celebrate You. Thank you Lord for our Amanda Lucia. Thank you for using her to channel Your love and lessons to us. [emoji]
"Happy 12th anak. Mahal na mahal ka namin."
