Maggie Wilson moved her social-media followers with a heartfelt video tribute dedicated to her son, Connor Consunji, from whom she has been separated for several months.
Connor is Maggie's 11-year-old son with her estranged husband Victor Consunji.
Following the widely publicized break-up of his parents, Connor has been residing with his father.
On Monday, May 15, 2023, the former beauty queen shared a compilation of endearing video clips featuring her son, as a way to celebrate Mother's Day.
In the accompanying caption, she candidly expressed the emotional challenge she faced in creating the video, as she had to take several moments to compose herself and hold back tears.
She wrote (published as is), "It took me several days to put this video together. I was meant to put it up yesterday.
"It wasn’t easy as I needed to take one too many minutes to stop, collect myself and find other means to distract myself, to stop myself from crying.
"I could barely get through making it. Things are sometimes different from what it seems."
Maggie also made a heartfelt request to her Instagram followers, asking them to kindly share the video with her son Connor, as she has been prevented from seeing him for several months.
"To everyone involved think about an eleven-year-old boy in the middle of all this and do what is right. My son has been put through far too much.
"I have been blocked. I ask that if you see my son, tell him he is loved, and if you can, show him this video. I will be forever grateful if you could find in your hearts to do so."
MAGGIE'S MESSAGE TO CONNOR
The touching video unveiled cherished memories from Connor's early years, complemented by Maggie's sincere voice-over as she directly expressed her message to her beloved son.
Maggie opened up about the relentless efforts she made to establish contact with Connor, shedding light on the arduous circumstances that have kept them physically separated and the emotional toll it has taken on their lives.
The celebrity mom told her son, "Hey, little man. It's been 131 days since we last spoke, and 305 since we last saw each other.
"I've tried phoning you and sending you messages countless times. It has been hard on me, but I know it's been harder on you.
"I remember every word you said, your pain, and how visibly upset you were about what was happening. You cried and cried."

Maggie continued, "We cried together about how unfair everything was.
"You told me how scared you were about your dad hurting me, that you wouldn't feel loved when your baby sister arrived, and that you wanted to live with me.
"I asked you if your dad explained anything? And you said no. But you already knew.
"You are a wise, kind, intuitive, and empathetic young man. You are frightened, and feel uncertain about the future.
"We talked about the day that we would see each other again.
"You told me that every night you dream of waiting for me at the airport to see and hug me again, that you wished for me to be at your birthday.
"And I couldn't be there that day. And I am deeply sorry for that."
Despite the difficult decision to separate from Victor, Maggie clarified that her motive was to afford her son the chance to experience authentic happiness, even if it meant enduring physical separation from her.
"I still need to understand why it had to come to this folly. Things were challenging when your dad and I separated. But at least there was some form of communication.
"I only wanted him to be happy because I couldn't give him that. I was simply not enough. It was a hard pill to swallow and a difficult decision. But I did so because I wanted you to see both of us happy.
"Even though we weren't together. I wanted you to see what real happiness looks like."
Maggie further emphasized to Connor that she wholeheartedly made efforts to reconcile with his father and endure the pain for the sake of their family.

However, Maggie revealed that these struggles had to be shielded from him by his grandma Sonia Nales-Wilson, as well as his aunt Elizabeth Wilson, as they believed it was a matter for the adults to handle.
"Sometimes I question myself, if that was selfish of me to do, I want you to know that I tried. I tried to fix things.
"I tried to hide my pain to still be there for you. Wowa Sonia and Tita Beth shielded you from it, because that problem was only meant for me and your dad to deal with as adults."
Maggie also acknowledged the heavy burden she and her estranged husband have placed on Connor, asking their young son to be strong and prepare for the challenges ahead.
"I remember telling you that you needed to be strong, and prepare yourself for the situation that was about to arise.
"That is so heavy to ask of a child. But I know I have been nothing but honest with you."
Despite the physical distance, Maggie reassured Connor that she is always with him in spirit. She expressed her unwavering love, sending him nightly wishes and prayers for his safety.
"Not a minute goes by that I don't think of you or have the same dreams as you. I send you so much love every night before bed, my Baba.
"Every day I'm not with you, my heart breaks a little. Every day, I furiously try to hang on to continue the good fight. Every day I pray for you and your safety.
"I have loved you since the day I found out about you. I carried you, grew you, and gave birth to you. I am not perfect. No one is."
Maggie also remains hopeful that she will be reunited with Connor.
"One day, when someone steps in from our justice system, we will see each other again.
"We can hold each other, smile together, and go through life making new and happy memories together.
"I want you to know that I look forward to that day. You will grow up and realize what happened. And I will show you all the facts.
"I have never been scared because I know that the truth always prevails.
"I will always be here for you, no matter how far away it may seem, waiting for you. Till then, remember these moments.
"I want you to know how much I miss and love you with all my heart. You will always be my number one Connor."
In concluding her message, Maggie imparted a heartfelt piece of advice to all mothers, urging them to cherish and savor each precious moment they have with their children.
"To all the mothers out there. I wish you a very Happy Mother's Day.
"Every day, cherish each and every moment with your little ones because you never know what life brings. Hold them close.
"I wish that one day I get to feel the same way again."
