Ano ang pakiramdam ni Ynna Asistio bilang anak ni Nadia Montenegro na sikat na female teen star noong 1980s?
Umpisang saad ni Ynna, “It’s a wonderful feeling to be her daughter kasi everywhere I go, I hear stories of how she and my dad have touched so many lives over the years."
Her father was the long-serving Caloocan Mayor, Macario "Boy" Asistio Jr., from the 1980s to the 1990s.
Mariing sambit pa ni Ynna, "Kahit wala na si dad, mom is still continuing his legacy of helping others wholeheartedly. Ang sarap po, nakaka-proud.
“Kahit man po umabot sa point na nawala lahat kay daddy at mommy, naging mabuting tao pa rin sila.
"Kaya at peace po ako na kahit wala na po si Daddy, ramdam na ramdam ko siya sa lahat ng mga galaw na nangyayari sa buhay ni mommy ngayon.”

Sumakabilang-buhay si former Mayor Boy noong Pebrero 2017 sa edad na otsenta anyos.
Twenty-six years old si Ynna noong pumanaw ang kanyang ama. Gaano sila kalapit bilang mag-ama?
“Super close,” bulalas ni Ynna. “Dad had a special connection to each of his children. That’s what I love about him, he made sure that everyone felt loved.”
Ano ang alala ng kanyang ama ang hindi makakalimutan ni Ynna?
“Waaaaa. Nakakaiyak,” umpisang reaksyon muna ni Ynna sa aming tanong.
“The first time I got my heartbroken, he took care of me. And I will forever be grateful for him.
“I will never forget that moment and memory where he hugged and said, ‘’Nak, okay lang iyan, iiyak mo lang.’
“Ayun. Tapos, araw-araw niya akong kinukulit dun sa bahay.
“Masasabi ko lang I never thought he would stand by me that way. He never made me feel alone, as well as my family, they stood by me but dad was the most special one,” saad pa ni Ynna.
“And I will forever be grateful for that moment.”

HER MOTHER'S DAUGHTER
Nadako naman ang usapan sa mommy niyang si Nadia.
Aware ba siya kung gaano kasikat ito noong teenager pa?
“I was aware po, sobra,” bulalas ni Ynna. “Kasi bata pa lang kami pinapanood na namin ang mga movies and shows nila."
Papuri pa nn aktres sa kanyang ina, “But mas lalo akong napahanga when I started hearing rin po stories from my co-workers sa showbiz industry how famous she was back then.
“Nakakabilib po! Also, working at the age of fourteen, ibang klase po, nakakahanga.”
Ano sa palagay niya ang namana ni Ynna sa kanyang ina?
“Helping others, hindi marunong mag-no,” at natawa si Ynna. “Lahat, oo lang ng oo.
“Ang siyempre, namana ko rin yung appetite niya sa food, hindi mawawala yun."
YNNA AS ENTERPRENEUR
May dalawang negosyo na hawak si Ynna: ang isa ay tungkol sa mga alahas at ang isa naman ay konektado sa pagkain.
Pero paglilinaw niya, hindi siya ang may-ari ng Radiant Lux Jewelry business.
“I'm the PR & Marketing of Radiant Lux. Also part of the sales team, so people often have mistaken me as the owner of Radiant and ako rin po ang isa sa mga model nila,” at tumawa si Ynna.
“The owners are the del Rosario family from Meycauayan, Bulacan. They have been in the industry for almost forty-three years.
“Established since 1980, expertise namin ang crafting of bespoke rings, custom designs, repairs, appraisals of jewelries.
“Yung mga alahas namin ay handmade by our local goldsmiths from Bulacan,” pagmamalaki pa ni Ynna.
“Nag-start po ako as referrals lang then nung dumami eventually si Happy, yung partner ko sa Radiant, and also one of the owners of the company asked if I wanted to be a part of Radiant, so I've been with them since 2017.”
Co-owner naman si Ynna ng Meats & Deli Cafe By Rockwell na matatagpuan sa The Grove sa Ortigas, Pasig City.
“The owners are my sister si Chef Alyana Asistio, tapos co-owners sina Jay Adevoso, a family friend, si Alex Calleja the comedian and Yana's close friend and ako po.”
Lahad pa ni Ynna, “Kaya po ako sumali, isa po ako sa mga unang sinabihan ni Yana sa vision and dream restaurant niya po kaya sumali po ako para po matuloy rin po ang dream niya and dream namin na magka restaurant together.
“All the recipes are original, concept po ni Yana lahat yung menu,” ang nakangiting kuwento pa ni Ynna.
“May mga special menu lang like added food or pastries nila Mommy Nads and Mamita Linda, my lola.
“It’s a fusion restaurant meaning mixed cuisines, also delis and meats like all kinds of steaks are available, and specialties are also available like deserts, cake, milk tea and coffee.
“We opened December 15, 2022 and we're doing very well,” masayang sinabi pa ni Ynna.
YNNA AS A VLOGGER
Bukod sa pagiging aktres, si Ynna ay host/vlogger na may show na Behind The Scenes With Ynna na napapanood sa YouTube (na may bagong episode tuwing Sabado, 6 p.m.)
The show's banner is everyday is Mother's Day, at siyempre pa si Nadia ang guest ni Ynna sa pilot episode nito titled "My Momma’s Journey."
