Dianne Medina's recent realization left her completely floored.

"Cleaning our old house! hahahah dami ko nahalungkat hahaha," she wrote.

But, what really stopped her in her tracks was an old tuition fee receipt from her kindergarten days that made her realize just how much times have changed.

"Grabe yung tuition fee ko may receipt na dated May 7, 1991, Kinder, Holy Spirit QC - 2,521.50 pesos lang.

"Fast forward now 170K si Joaquin Nursery 2 grabe hahaha.”

This comparison came with photos of old receipts and report cards from Holy Spirit School and Ateneo de Manila Grade School, presumably belonging to Dianne's relatives.

Her reflection on rising tuition fees struck a chord with her followers.

DIANNE VOWS TO GIVE THE BEST CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCE TO HER KIDS

Despite the soaring school costs, Dianne understands that there is no price to a mother's love.

This was further demonstrated when she fulfilled her three-year-old unico hijo's request to swim indoors in May of this year.

To beat the summer heat, Dianne placed an inflatable pool inside their family's carpeted living room.

"It's so hot and told me he wanted to swim inside. So, ayan nag set up kami ni Daddy Rj ng Mini pool niya," she said.

"At first I was bit hesitant madudumihan and mababasa ang carpet and all...

"Pero naisip ko minsan lang bata si Joaquin. Gusto ko ma-enjoy niya, and ang sala puwede naman patuyuin at linisin ang mga gamit hahaha!"

Recalling another time she condoned Joaquin's antics, she said, "Same as before, nagdrawing siya ng car sa sofa using pentel pen. Hindi na ko nagalit kasi mapapalitan naman yun haha!

"Kung saan ka masaya anak! Mahal na mahal kita."

In response to the debate among netizens, Dianne defended her parenting choice by explaining, "Nung wala nang araw at hindi na masyado mainit. Nag swimming na si Joaquin with Daddy outside!

"Im so grateful napakabait at sweet ng anak ko! Mommy loves you so much!"

She added, "As for the carpet, relax! Hahah Due na rin yan for cleaning so its okay.

"Hindi masamang pagbigyan ng isang beses ang mga anak natin, basta we know our limits and boundaries!

"Marami kasi dyan they judge basing on one posted video!"

Days later, Dianne flexed setting up an inflatable bounce house with slide inside their house to drive home her point.

"My House, My Child, My Rules! Kahit maglagay pa ako ng inflatables sa loob okay lang! [laughing emojis]," she penned in her caption.
