Celebrity couple Kristine Hermosa-Sotto and Oyo Sotto are once again in the spotlight as they joyously anticipate the arrival of their sixth child.
At their launching as the newest faces of Silka Papaya Soap on Monday, July 16, 2024, in Marquis Events Place, Kristine was brimming with happiness over this pleasant surprise.
She told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Walang expectation. Dahil unang-una, hindi namin in-expect ito."
The 40-year-old actress also considered this a blessing and part of God's plan for their family.
Grateful for a smooth pregnancy, Kristine continued, "Thank God, hindi naman ako nahirapan sa pagbubuntis. Smooth naman yung pregnancy ko."
Did she have any unusual cravings?
Kristine shook her head, but Oyo playfully teased that she has developed a liking for "wagyu" after trying it at a restaurant a couple of times.

Kristine continued, "We are always excited when there’s another baby coming. Yung excitement, ganoon pa rin."
Oyo echoed his wife's sentiments, emphasizing the challenges and joys of parenthood.
"[Iba yung] joy na mararamdaman mo. I’m sure alam naman ito ng mga may anak na.
"Na ang pagkakaroon ng anak ay hindi madali. Mahirap pero masaya."
Although it surprised the couple's five children, the coming of a baby brother has got the boys—Kristian Daniel, Kaleb Hanns, Marvic Valentin, and Vittorio Isaac—very happy.
Even the family's unica hija Ondrea Bliss is thrilled despite initially wanting a baby sister.
KRISTINE HERMOSA AND OYO SOTTO: PARENTING WITH LOVE
Mindful of their hectic schedules, Kristine and Oyo highlighted the significance of self-care and ensuring proper "alaga" for her loved ones.
"Once in a while, you need to pamper yourself," Kristine advised as she made a pitch for Silka Papaya Soap as part of her beauty routine, alongside healthy lifestyle choices.
It's also important to be happy with what's been given to you.
She added, "We have to be content where God has placed us. Everything has a purpose."
Then Oyo discussed their commitment to a disciplined routine, including early bedtimes to balance their responsibilities.
He said, "Hindi na kami magpupuyat. Matutulog na lang kami nang maaga para maaga kaming magising at makapagtrabaho bago magising ang mga bata."
Their goal is give the kids a loving and structured home environment.
As Kristine put it, "We need to be consistent in everything we do and in the rules we set for our children.
"It's not a secret, I always say this: It's God.
"I draw my strength and sanity from Him. Everything comes from God."
Having been married for 13 years, the couple also shared their dynamics when going on dates and trips: Kristine, the meticulous "planner," and Oyo, the efficient "executor."
In a heartfelt conversation about their enduring "kilig," Kristine and Oyo said their love has evolved into a deeper, more mature form of excitement.
Oyo good-humoredly said, “Mas malalim na yung kilig, ngayon parang nakakakilig na buntis siya.”
They concluded by emphasizing that the one thing they aim to pass down to their children, besides faith, is "not giving up on seeing each other."
