Melai Cantiveros admits she uses a clothes hanger to discipline her four-year-old child Mela.

Melai Cantiveros described herself as a "may pagka-chill" mother but to a certain extent.

She added, "Pero kapag nasobrahan na, talagang papunta sa strict-strict."

The comedienne has two daughters: Mela, 4, and Stela, 1.

She may not be proud of it, but the Kapamilya host uses hanger and various ways to discipline her children, particularly, Mela.

The Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up winner told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other entertainment reporters, "Hindi naman ako proud na hina-hanger ko ang anak ko, pero hindi naman ako nagkakamay, hanger lang talaga.

She uses these colors as a way to warn Mela in case she doesn't behave properly.

Melai would tell her four-year-old daughter, 'Ano, Mela, gusto mo pink color?"

She further explained the story behind these colors.

"Gusto ko yung salita ko, 'Look at me, eye to eye.'

PEP.ph and other reporters spoke to Melai at the Nestokid Four Grow Happy Nation Event last July 14, in Robinsons Ermita, Malate, Manila.

MELAI'S PARENTING STYLE

Melai believes that her parenting style was influenced by her own mother.

What does she wish to accomplish in raising her daughters?
