Jennylyn Mercado admits feeling worried about her 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival movie, Walang Forever.
She is aware that many are expecting it to do well in the box-office, just like her MMFF 2014 entry, English Only, Please.
As early as now, Jen warns moviegoers, “Ibang-iba siya, even 'yong character ko. Kahit 'yong physical na hitsura, ibang-iba, manang na may salamin, may tattoo. Lahat nasa brain lang, hindi siya masyadong madaldal.”
The My Faithful Husband actress will be portraying a scriptwriter who is very positive about love.
“Sikat na rom-com scriptwriter ako rito kaya 'yong view niya sa pag-ibig lahat akala parang movie na nakakakilig, na masaya,” said Jen who will have Jericho Rosales as her leading man in this movie.
It will be recalled that JM de Guzman was supposed to star in this MMFF 2015 but he was replaced because the producers “can no longer wait for JM's availability.”

According to Jennylyn, her character and Jericho's character are both bitter about love, “Pero ako 'yong naniniwala sa forever.”
The GMA-7 actress also acknowledged that there is stiff competition from other entries featuring love teams: Kim Chiu and Xian Lim for All You Need is Pag-ibig, James Reid and Nadine Lustre for Beauty and the Bestie, Janella Salvador and Marlo Mortel for Haunted Mansion, and the current phenomenal AlDub tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza in My Pabebe Love.
“Kinakabahan nga kami kasi, siyempre, ang lalakas ng mga katapat namin,” admitted Jennylyn.
Instead of worrying too much, Jennylyn said, “Sa amin, hindi kami nag-e-expect ng kahit na ano.
“Okay na sa amin na lalabas sila ng sinehan na napaiyak namin, napatawa namin sila, maganda naman 'yong result.
“Okay na sa amin 'yong na-in love ang mga tao.”
She also stressed in the end, “Okay na sa amin na magandahan kayo.
“Hindi na namin inaambisyon na ano kasi alam naman namin na 'yong mga katapat namin ay malalakas.”
