Looking regal in a white evening gown, Andi Eigenmann sparkled on the red carpet last night, April 15, at the celebrity screening of comedy film Coming Soon held in Greenbelt 3, Makati City.
The actress, who co-produced the film with Ronald Singson’s Fearless Productions & Neil Arce’s Brownsugar Entertainment, wore a smile that seemed to say she was alright despite the hounding reports on her breakup with former boyfriend Jake Ejercito.
Reports on Jake, son of former president Joseph Ejercito Estrada to his mistress Laarni Enriquez, and Andi’s ended relationship has turned into a saga — one that has dragged even both Jake’s and Andi’s parents in the issue.
The controversial statement that award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose, Andi's mother, added fuel to the fire. It insiniuated Jake's parents's disapproval of his relationship with Andi. (CLICK HERE to read related story)

After everything has been said and done, however, Andi told the press on Monday night that she is happy.
“Para sa akin po, I don’t let things like that get to me.
“Kahit may maranasan man po ako sa buhay ko na medyo masakit o na malungkot, wala po akong karapatan na magreklamo… o na mag-dwell on it.
“Kasi po, ang dami ko pong blessings na natatanggap, lalung-lalo na po yung Coming Soon.
“So, there’s no reason for me to be sad,” said the 22-year-old actress.
PRIORITIES. Early yesterday prior to the premiere screening, Andi tweeted lyrics from Taylor Swift’s smash hit, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

Asked to clarify if it had anything to do with her former boyfriend, the actress smiled and quipped, “Mall show song ko yun!”
Apart from attending the screening, Andi was earlier on a mall tour to promote Coming Soon.
The actress, nonetheless, shed light on the significance of the song for her: “Siguro sinasabi ko yun sa sarili ko.
“Sinasabi ko sa sarili ko yun na para tumatak siya sa isip ko na mas smart decision for me to just be single and happy and take care of my daughter and prioritize my work.”
Andi's daughter, Ellie, is now one year old.
RESPECT FOR JAKE’S PARENTS. During the interview, Andi was asked if the she gets tired of the round of interviews that constantly bring up the issue of Jake’s parents alleged non-acceptance of her.
The actress clarified that that is not entirely true considering Jake’s parents have asked Andi to help them campaign for former President Estrada, a Manila mayorial candidate.
Andi stated, “Well, I don’t want to say that that’s not true because they have asked me to help them campaign and I did go with Jake but then, that’s that.”
She stressed, “For me, Jake and I, in our relationship in the past, like I said many times, the parents were never an issue.
“If ever we had problems, it’s our own problems. Pero with the parents, hindi yun naging issue kasi we respect our parents.”
While the issue has come full circle, the media has continued to pursue questions regarding the Andi and Jake story.
“And yeah, that’s true, cycle na nga yun. And pagod na pagod na po ako,” commented the actress.
Is this why she chooses to be single now?
“Yes,” agreed Andi.
ON GOOD TERMS. The actress told that she and Jake’s mother are on speaking terms and treat each other well especially when they bump into each other during campaigns.
That really made me feel good.”
PERIOD. Does Andi still hope that in the future she and Jake will get back together?
In spite of the smile, the actress's tone was firm, “Ngayon, tapos na siya talaga.”
That’s a “period” that she puts in that statement and not “comma.”
“But I’m so happy,” said Andi.
Does this mean there’s someone else?
“Wala. I’m single, I’m happy,” she lastly said.
