Bea Alonzo quells rumors she and Zanjoe Marudo are cooling off; moons her boyfriend is "a keeper... he’s real"

Bea Alonzo says their time apart because of work only makes her relationship with Zanjoe Marudo stronger, sweeter: “Ngayon mas sweet kami sa isa’t isa. Siya, parang feeling ko mas extra sweet siya sa akin kasi na-miss niya ako. So, nakatulong siya.”

Speculations abound that Bea Alonzo and her boyfriend, actor Zanzoe Marudo, have called a time-out from their relationship because of their hectic schedules.

“Ha? Buti sila alam nila!" Bea exclaimed, surprised to hear about this rumored development in her love life.

"Parang masayang-masaya naman kaming dalawa," she told members of the media on Wednesday afternoon, October 23, at her re-launch as endorser of Olay in its 4th advertising campaign.

The A-list actress assured that she and her 31-year-old beau remain a solid couple: “Hindi kami nag-cool off."

Bea said the tittle-tattle may have started during the period that she and Zanjoe were hardly seen together.

She had been busy filming the romantic comedy She’s The One. Zanjoe, meanwhile, had started work on his afternoon soap, Annaliza— this, on top of his nightly gag show Banana Split.

“Siguro akala nila… Kasi merong two months that I was doing She’s The One, halos hindi kami nagkikita.

“And para sa akin, ngayon, na-realize ko, mas nag-work siya for both of us.”

Bea went on to say that, in fact, their time apart made them long for each other’s company so much more.

“Yung ano, parang ngayon mas sweet kami sa isa’t isa.

“Siya, parang feeling ko mas extra sweet siya sa akin kasi na-miss niya ako…

“So, nakatulong siya.”

And it helps, especially when both are busy with their respective projects, that she and Zanjoe feel secure in their relationship.

“Walang selosan, he trusts me enough na alam niyang hindi ko siya lolokohin, ako din gano’n sa kanya," Bea said, emphatic.

“Siguro kasi hindi kami nagsasawa i-reassure yung isa’t isa every single day.”

Zanjoe revealed in an interview that he wanted a child, are they planning a family soon?
