Andi Eigenmann eager to put the smile back on the faces of children in Tacloban this Christmas: “I have put my heart in this.”

Andi Eigenmann finds time in her busy schedule to send help to the typhoon survivors in the Eastern Visayas. The Galema actress, who also stars in Viva Films’s sexy drama When the Love is Gone, will have her pre-loved clothing and accessory items sold at a rummage sale in Loyola Grand Villas this Saturday, November 23.

Andi Eigenmann, encouraged by reports on local and international personalities boosting relief efforts for the victims of Yolanda, is determined to do her part despite her busy schedule.

Apart from taping for her soap, the Galema star is also busy promoting When the Love is Gone, the latest romantic drama by Viva Films that she leads. The movie, which also stars Gabby Concepcion, Alice Dixson, Cristine Reyes, and Jake Cuenca will premiere on November 27.

At the grand press conference of the Andoy Ranay film last night, November 19, at the Citybest Seafood Restaurant, Tomas Morato, Andi was eager to relate about her contribution to the worldwide relief efforts for the people in Tacloban.

The actress said that she will be part of a campaign that will pack relief goods and personally distribute them to the children in Tacloban this coming holiday season.

Andi said that it will “help put a smile back on the young victims’s faces this Christmas.”

In the meantime, she is packing goods and delivering them to drop off points in Metro Manila.

Andi also announced that her pre-loved clothing and accessories will be sold at a rummage sale happening in Loyola Grand Villas subdivision in Quezon City, this Saturday, November 23.

Moreover, the actress’s shoe line, Candy Andi, will participate in the Bloggers United 6, a shopping fair that will take place at the World Trade Center in Pasay on December 7.

The profits of the shoe sale will be donated to the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda.

“I have put my heart in this,” said Andi, catching her breath.

“I BELIEVE IN JAKE.” In the interview that followed the press conference, members of the media asked Andi to comment on talks about It’s Showtime! host Coleen Garcia being linked to co-host Billy Crawford.

Billy’s break up with actress/TV host Nikki Gil last August stirred rumors that Andi caused the split.

Billy, who starred in the Viva Film comedy Oh My Mamma Mia with Andi, denied the rumors.

In last night’s interview, Andi said she cannot comment because she knows nothing about the Coleen-Billy issue.

“Wala po akong masasabi kasi po wala naman po akong alam diyan.

“Wala po akong kinalaman diyan.

“So, sila na lang po yung tanungin niyo,” said Andi, resigned to the intrigues in show business.

She added, “I don’t think I need to have any certain feeling towards that kasi nasama lang naman ako.

“Wala naman akong kinalaman, they said it themselves."

Andi also reminded the press that rumors, being what they are, eventually die down especially if they are not true.

“Siyempre kapagka mga ganyang bagay, kasi kapag hindi totoo, hindi naman nagtatagal na pinag-uusapan ng mga tao…”

Recall that Coleen was also linked to Andi’s ex-boyfriend, Jake Ejercito.

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Jake, son of the Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, denied having a romantic interest in Coleen.

Andi further said she has never spoken to Coleen because she does not know personally the 21-year-old host.

But she knows Jake Ejercito.

“I chose Jake more than kung ano po yung naririnig o sinasabi ng mga tao…

“Sabi po ni Jake na wala and I believe in him.

“And I know that he is telling the truth. So, that’s all that matters.”
