Bilang isa sa mga matalik na kaibigan ni Matteo Guidicelli, hindi maiwasang tanungin si Marlon Stockinger kung boto ba siya sa girlfriend ng aktor na si Sarah Geronimo.
Sagot ng Fil-Swiss race car champion hinggil dito, “I think they’re good togther. They’re good for each other.”
Eksklusibong nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Marlo sa The Globe Tower headquarters, sa Taguig City, kahapon, July 17.
Si Marlon ay bahagi ng Lotus F1 racing team na mayroong tie-up sa Globe Telecom sa bansa.
Minsan nang naiulat ang tungkol sa dinner party kung saan kasama ni Matteo si Sarah at karamihan sa non-showbiz friends ng aktor.

Pero nagkataong nasa ibang bansa si Marlon noon kaya’t hindi raw siya nagkaroon ng pagkakataong makilala si Sarah.
Ngunit kahit hindi pa niya personal na nakikita ang Popstar Princess ay nahalata umano ni Marlon na masaya si Matteo sa buhay-pag-ibig nito ngayon.
Positibo rin ang reaksiyon ni Marlon tungkol sa pagsasapubliko nina Matteo at Sarah ng kanilang relasyon.
“Again, I don’t wanna talk so much about it. But I think, whatever it is, it’s really good that they have that.
“Of course, I understand in show business. People are so keen to know who you’re seeing; or especially if it’s another person who’s also in show business.
“I guess the fact that they get it out makes it a lot easier on them.
"Of course, it’s a positive [development], definitely.”
FRIENDSHIP WITH MATTEO. Naging malapit na magkaibigan sina Matteo at Marlon dahil pareho nilang hilig ang kart racing at nangarap na maging unang Pinoy Formula One racer.
Natupad ni Marlon ang pangarap na iyon, bilang bahagi ng Lotus F1 Team, noong nakaraang taon.
Bagamat madalang silang magkita dahil sa kani-kanilang trabaho, bukas sina Marlon at Matteo sa pagsasabi kung gaano sila ka-proud sa isa’t isa.
“Yeah, as he is proud of me with the racing, I’m also proud of him because it’s not easy what he does in showbiz.
“It takes a lot of commitment and, I know for sure, a lot of patience.
"I guess, to each his own.
“He has the talents for it [acting and hosting] and I have a talent for my racing.
"I’m just glad that he’s also doing well with what he’s chosen to do,” saad ni Marlon.
Ngayong nandito si Marlon sa bansa, nagkaroon daw siya ng pagkakataong makasama si Matteo sa triathlon training ng aktor kahapon ng umaga.
“If you do things like racing or if you’re a sports person, if you did sports like football or basketball in school, that never goes away.
“I was with him this morning. We had a nice training session.
"He does it for his craft. But I joined him because it’s like a cross training just to vary up what I do.”
ELIGIBLE BACHELOR. Samantala, nananatiling single at walang girlfriend si Marlon dahil buhos daw ang atensiyon niya sa training at pagsali ng competition sa car racing.
Third placer ang 23-year-old car racer sa ginanap na ikapitong round ng Formula Renault 3.5 series sa Germany, noong July 14.
Pahayag ni Marlon tungkol sa kawalan niya ng lovelife ngayon, “In the end, my racing car is my girlfriend.
"But when I have time to socialize and go on dates, of course, I take the opportunity.
“But I think, like, to find a girlfriend in the Philippines at the moment, as much as I’d love to have a girl from home, it would also be unfair for them because I’m not in the country. I’m always in and out of the country.
“At the moment, I’m committed to racing.
"But if the opportunity arises, if she’s understanding with what I do, why not?”
