“It is Derek's continuing desire to finally spend time with his son on a regular basis now that the parties have agreed to both move on,” says Derek Ramsay's legal counsel Atty. Joji Alonso in an official statement sent to PEP.ph today, November 4.

“It is Derek's continuing desire to finally spend time with his son on a regular basis now that the parties have agreed to both move on,” saad ni Atty.

“During the hearing for the Judicial Confirmation of the Agreement for Support, Custody and Dissolution of the Absolute Community of Property signed 2 years ago, Judge Cristina Sulit convinced the parties to set aside their differences and maintain a peaceful co-existence for the sake of their son.

“While Derek would have wanted the VAWC case against him resolved, so he could clear his name, he agreed to withdraw his Opposition to the withdrawal of the VAWC Complaint.

“Likewise, he no longer proceeded to file the Adultery and Grave Coercion cases, which were supposed to be filed that same day. Complainant, for her part, filed an Affidavit of Desistance in the Concubinage case against Derek and Angelica.

“It is Derek's continuing desire to finally spend time with his son on a regular basis now that the parties have agreed to both move on."
