BB Gandanghari: “Well, there was BB before Caitlyn!”

BB Gandanghari on Caitlyn Jenner coming out at 65: “It’s just basically expressing who you really are. If it takes 65 years before you can even express yourself, so be it.”

“It's always better late than never.”

“Ganun talaga. Maski ako noon, sabi late daw.

“But it's always better late than never.

“You know, it's just basically expressing who you really are.

“If it takes 65 years before you can even express yourself, so be it.

“At least magiging happy siya for the next ten years, I hope,” sabi ni BB, na nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa ginanap na The PEP List Year 2 awards night, kagabi, June 18.

COMPARISONS.

Ang pabirong tugon naman ni BB: “Well, there was BB before Caitlyn!”

“It was really very hard.

"I know what she is going through or what she will be going through in the next six years of her life.

“Thank God nauna tayo kasi mahirap yung journey from coming out to living the life of a transgender person.”

“As long as he's sure kung ano ang estado ng emosyon niya nang mag-out siya as a transgender person, nandiyan ang discrimination.

“People will start saying what they actually feel about the whole situation.

“Hopefully, when that time comes, medyo emotionally stable siya para tanggapin ang lahat ng criticisms, discouragement.

“Not everyone will be encouraging, that's for sure.”

“Ako, one thing is for sure, I prefer men.

“Nakakaloka siya, ewan ko sa kanya! Basta ako, I prefer men!”

Kaugnay nito, tila walang balak magpa-sexual reassignment si BB.

“As much as I wanna explore on that, it's really a personal decision that you just discuss, and you don't know when it's coming.

“But as far as I'm concern, I really wanna maintain... It's been six years, 'di ba?

“So, as much as possible, even if I'm going through the transition that I'm going through, I wanna maintain that respect.
