Ipinauubaya na raw ni Edu Manzano sa Sandiganbayan ang kahihinatnan ng graft case laban kay Optical Media Board (OMB) Chairman Ronnie Ricketts.
Kaninang umaga, July 23, ay naghain ng not guilty plea si Ronnie, kasama ang apat pang mga akusado, sa Sandiganbayan Fourth Division.
Ito ay kaugnay ng graft case na isinampa ng Office of the Ombudsman laban kina Ronnie.

Ngayong araw rin ay nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang miyembro ng media si Edu sa isang event.
Dito ay kinuha ang reaksiyon ng dating OMB chairman sa not guilty plea ni Ronnie.
Saad ni Edu, “[T]he one's that gonna prosecute him is the Ombudsman.
“You know, the guy really… the gentleman made the full confession already. Si Mr. Perez [isa sa mga akusado].
“I just feel that Mr. Ricketts was very unfair.
“All these people are facing dismissal from service because of him, you know.
“And they didn't even provide them legal counsel, they didn't provide them any spiritual comfort.
“He's only… appointee lang siya, e. He's not organic,” pagtukoy niya kay Ronnie.
Dagdag pa ng TV host-actor, “These people, who I know for a fact are innocent, you know…
“I know there's a guilty one there, but there are a couple of people there who are really innocent.
“I know that for a fact.
“Sa kanya, pera-pera lang, e.”
Nanilbihan bilang OMB chairman si Edu mula 2004 hanggang 2009. Kung sakali ba ay gusto niyang bumalik sa dati niyang puwesto?
“Oh, no, no… I'm fine where I am,” sagot niya.
