Maja Salvador was overheard cracking a joke about not wanting to be seated beside Alden Richards during the 29th Star Awards for TV.
The awards night was held last night, December 3, at the KIA Theater in Cubao.
Both Maja and Alden were to receive awards.
When she was assigned a seat beside the Kapuso actor to wait out the announcement of winners, Maja was heard saying lightheardly, "Ayoko tumabi kay Alden kasi baka ma-bash ako.”
The AlDub love team is composed of Alden and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza, and there are Aldub fanatics out there who are ready to pounce on any female star who posts her photos with Alden.
The scenario that ensued saw Maja whispering to the fellow Star awardee beside her without moving her head to look at Alden.
"Usap tayo, Alden, pero diretso lang ulo natin at huwag tayo magtinginan," she instructed.
Alden responded with an apology to Maja for the trouble he was putting her through, "Sorry, Maja."
The Kapamilya actress then quipped that she might get stiff neck so she told Alden, "Lilingon ako sa kabila. ayoko humarap sa iyo.”
Maya received the Best Drama Actress Award for Bridges of Love while Alden accepted his trophy as Best Drama Actor for the bayani-serye Ilustrado at the Star Awards.
