Angel Locsin wants to put a stop to the negative feedback against the circulating meme of ex-boyfriend Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola.
This is in connection with speculations about whether or not Luis and Jessy are currently dating.
Last Wednesday, June 1, an avid fan of Angel shared a meme that shows a throwback photo of Angel and Luis juxtaposed with a cropped photo of Luis and Jessy.
The caption reads: “That’s how fast the night changes. #AngelLocsin #AngelLocsinMemes”
Angel responded to the comments' thread of the meme in question, asking her fans to stop the malicious comments about Luis and Jessy.
The 31-year-old Kapamilya actress says, “Hi! Thanks for your concern. Pero siguro wag na lang tayong mag-bash.
“Wala rin kasing magandang maidudulot. Hope you understand :)”
ANGEL'S REACTION TO ANOTHER FAN-MADE MEME. Prior to this, another meme that shows “then-and-now” photos of Luis and Jessy circulated online last Tuesday, May 31.
The car photo of Luis and Jessy happens to be the latter's Instagram post right after their Kapamilya tour in London last year.
At the time, Jessy thanked Luis for protecting her when she got caught in the controversial plane incident.
In the same car photo, Jessy tagged Angel whom the former describes as her "girl crush."
Flash-forward to present time, Angel responded to the fan-made meme about Luis and Jessy with a smiley emoji.
To recall, Luis and Angel called it quits early this year.
The ex-couple have never discussed the reason of their breakup to the public.
JUST FRIENDS. PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Luis for a comment about the memes in question, but he hasn't replied yet at press time.
But in an interview with PEP last April, Luis denied speculations that he and Jessy are currently dating.
