Ang nasabing dialogue ay kaugnay ng reklamo ng ilang manonood ng noontime show ng Eat Bulaga! dahil diumano sa sinabi ng senator-TV host sa “Sugod Bahay” winner noong July 9 episode.

Sa pamamagitan ng text message ay naglabas ng statement si Tito Sen sa media kaugnay ng naganap na dialogue kanina.

Pahayag niya, “Hindi ako invited pero um-attend na rin ako to make myself clear.

“They watched the episode.

“Sa tingin ko, convinced sila na yung mga sumulat ng reaction were relying on comments of those who did not even know the context of the issue.”

Muli ring ipinagtanggol ng senador ang kanyang sarili laban sa mga bumatikos sa kanya.

Saad niya, “I explained to them that my comment was simply saying that a married woman drinking with other men at night will be ‘mapapagbintangan ng asawa.’

“So, what are they saying? That I am not allowed to practice the freedom of speech? I have no right to an opinion?

“I was merely after the protection of the institution of marriage.

“I'm sure pag napanood mo yung totoo at hindi edited version, makikita mo na wala kaming inapi.

“In fact, the winner had fun.”
