It looks like someone is already following the footsteps of Matteo Guidicelli as a triathlete.
His charming nine-year-old brother Paolo is set to compete in the IronKids triathlon event today, August 6, at the Shangri-La Mactan Resort and Spa in Cebu.
However, since Paolo is just starting to show interest in triathlon, Matteo said he keeps on reminding his brother to just enjoy the race.
“Wala lang, enjoy lang,” Matteo told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) when asked about the best tip he gave Paolo.
He added, “Yun ang pinakaimportante, basta enjoy lang siya sa ginagawa niya.
“He does it for fun talaga. Hindi siya seryoso sa ensayo niya, kapag may karera lang.”
Today's IronKids triathlon is Paolo's third triathlon competition.
He will be joining around 400 kids, from 6 to 14 years old, who registered for the said event.
ENJOY LANG. For his part, Matteo reiterated that he's just gonna enjoy the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship on Sunday, August 7.
He mentioned in a previous interview that he lacked training for this event because of his stint in the ABS-CBN primetime series Dolce Amore.
“Basta enjoy lang. This can be like my long training talaga,” said Matteo.

Meanwhile, Matteo clarified previous report that his girlfriend Sarah Geronimo registered for the IronGirl Dressed-Up Run held yesterday.
