Comedian Ate Gay took to Instagram to profusely thank Marian Rivera for “saving” Boobay.
Last Monday, November 28, Boobay was rushed to the hospital after he suffered a stroke.
Although Ate Gay did not say what kind of help Marian extended to her close friend Boobay, it seems that the Kapuso Primetime Queen was the one who shouldered a big chunk, if not all, of Boobay's hospital bills.

Marian, Boobay, and Ate Gay previously worked together in the GMA-7 morning talk show, Yan Ang Morning!
Prior to that hosting stint, Marian and Boobay have always been close friends since they met in the now-defunct Kapuso reality show Extra Challenge, back in 2012.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment) last Monday, Yan Ang Morning! director Louie Ignacio mentioned that Marian was the one updating their set of friends via Viber about Boobay’s condition.

As of 12 midnight earlier, Boobay's partner Kent Juan Resquir posted in his Instagram that Boobay is “conscious” and all his vital signs are “stable.”
Boobay is also scheduled to be transferred, Kent said, from the intensive care unit (ICU) to a regular room today, December 1.
Kent added, "Negative results to other procedures/tests dones [sic]; the cause of stroke is still unknown...
"Thank you so much for all the love and prayers."
