Jed Madela on malicious rumors involving him and fellow artists: "There have been friendships before na dahil sa bashing at pang-iintriga, nasisira. And it's sad."

“Ay, wala na yun. Wala na yun, it’s been taken care off.”

Saad niya, “It’s just making them aware that they can be in trouble when they post things carelessly.

“Ako lang, I’m a very vocal person when it comes to bashing. I’m very against bashing.

“It’s something that I always address.

“Kasi minsan, yung iba, natatakot to reply, iniiwasan na lumaki ang issue.

“Ako, I just say my piece, and that’s it.”

“It’s more in general, na there have been friendships before na dahil sa bashing at pang-iintriga, nasisira.

And it’s sad.”

Patuloy ni Jed, “Ako kasi, I don’t care, I don’t mind, let them talk.

“But sometimes, there are artists din... hindi lang artists, but other people who really get affected.

“They cannot do anything but ignore and avoid na, and ako, nasasaktan. It’s their choice.

“But ako naman, whatever makes them happy, whatever is good for their career or for their lives, I respect it na lang.”

Saad ni Jed, “I don’t know why, like, pati yung pagsuporta ko kay Darren, it’s a big issue. They always give malicious meaning.

“E, ako naman, I’ve always been a kuya with Darren ever since he started.

“He is already finding his spot in the industry.

“Ako, I can’t help but be very proud of him.

“And for these people to come to the limelight and bash, and give meaning, nakakasakit ng damdamin.”

AWKWARD.

“In all honesty, ngayon, hindi kami masyadong okay.

“You know, we just say ‘hi, hello,’ unlike before.

“Ako, I try to protect the kid.

“Somehow, pag maraming tao, we are kind of awkward.

“Hindi lang sa kanya, it’s more of kung sino ang mga nang-intriga sa akin.

“It kind of become awkward na ‘hi, hello,’ alis, ganun na lang. Wala nang harutan, wala nang lokohan."

Dagdag ng singer, “It’s pretty sad, but that’s how things happened.

“Hindi naman iwas… I guess, more careful.

“More careful in a sense na, whenever people are around, we avoid talking to each other, kasi baka kung ano na naman ang sasabihin ng mga tao.

“It’s very sad, especially on my part.

I am not very mainstream.

“Hindi ako yung tipo na nasa industry bulletin lagi, na may pinag-uusapan, may tsismis.

“I’m a very private person, and I try to protect and value my privacy, especially my friends.

“For them to get bashed just because I’m their friend is very painful for me.

“Minsan, ako na lang, I try to keep it to myself and tell them, ‘Sige lang, go lang, okay lang ako.’”

Ayon sa veteran singer, “Well, kanina nga, we were talking, we were goofing around sa backstage, sa dressing room.

“So, it’s very disappointing and frustrating.”
