Resigned MMFF 2017 executive hints at protest vs. first four entries

The first four MMFF 2017 entries are (from upper left, clockwise) Ang Panday, Almost is not Enough, Love Traps, and The Revengers.

Kabilang dito Ang Panday (CCM Creative Productions, Inc.), Almost Is Not Enough (Quantum & MJM Productions), The Revengers (Star Cinema & Viva Films), at Love Traps #FamilyGoals (Octo Arts Films) na isinumite ng big at medium-scale film companies.

Don't ask me to explain. The results of the script selection speak for itself.

“It cannot be the same formula films na tried and tested.

"Though it is unfortunate that Mr. Roland Tolentino, Mr. Ricky Lee and earlier on Ms Kara Alikpala resigned as Execom members, we respect their decision and have amicably parted ways.

"We also maintain our objective to provide our MMFF patrons quality films with commercial value for Christmas 2017."
