Ang American actor na si Patrick Dempsey, 57, ang hinirang na People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2023.
Si Patrick ang nakaagaw sa titulo ni Captain America star Chris Evans, na noong 2022 ay siyang itinanghal na Sexiest Man Alive.

Nakilala si Patrick sa pagganap niya bilang neurosurgeon na si Dr. Derek Shepherd a.k.a McDreamy sa ABC series na Grey’s Anatomy, Robert Philip sa musical film na Enchanted (2007), at Piero Taruffi, isang Italian race car driver sa upcoming biopic film na Ferrari.
Ayon kay Patrick, hindi niya inaasahang mangyayari pa sa tanang buhay niya na hiranging Sexiest Man Alive.
Nang malaman daw niya ito ay labis siyang nagulat at hindi pa makapaniwala noong una.
Saad niya sa panayam sa kanya ng People noong November 8, “I’m glad it’s happening at this point in my life.
“It’s nice to have the recognition, and certainly my ego takes a little bump, but it gives me the platform to use it for something positive.”

Dagdag pa niya, “I was completely shocked, and then I started laughing, like, this is a joke, right? I’ve always been the bridesmaid!”
“I’d completely forgotten about it and never even contemplated being in this position. So my ego is good.”

Nakatitiyak din daw siyang pati ang kanyang pamilya, sa pangunguna ng kanyang asawa na si Jilian at tatlong anak na sina Tatula, Sulivan, at Darby, ay magugulat kapag nalaman ng mga itong siya ang hinirang na Sexiest Man Alive ngayong taon.
Saad niya, “They’re just going to make fun of me and pick on me and figure out every reason why I shouldn’t be, which is good, they keep me young.”
