Binasag na ni Miss Universe Panama 2024 Italy Mora ang kanyang katahimikan matapos magwakas ang kanyang journey sa Miss Universe 2024 kahit kasisimula pa lamang ng pageant.
Ayon kay Mora, sinabihan siyang huwag nang ituloy ang paghahanda para sa gala night ng 73rd Miss Universe sa Mexico City noong November 1, 2024.
Isa raw sa dahilan nito ay ang hindi niya pagpapaalam na umalis ng kanilang assigned hotel room para sa pagmi-makeup o kaya ay pagkuha ng mga personal na gamit.
Itinuturing itong "severe measure" ni Italy gayong kaya naman sana niya itong maisaayos sa pamamagitan ng maayos na dayalogo.
Ang kanyang pahayag sa Instagram ay sa wikang Espanyol, na isinalin sa English ng ilang pageant sites.
Nakasaad dito, "About my departure from Miss Universe 2024
"On November 1, 2024, I was informed of my withdrawal from the Miss Universe pageant. As I was preparing to attend the gala evening, the organization informed me of its decision that I should leave the competition.
"I was told that this measure was taken due to non-compliance with leaving the room, which I admit occurred to put on makeup and collect personal items.
"Unfortunately, I trusted and followed instructions, without considering the consequences.
"However, I want to express that I consider it was a severe measure and that, instead, it could have been resolved with a dialogue or a warning."
Labis daw siyang nalungkot dahil sa nasayang na pagkakataon mula sa preparasyon at sa mga taong nasa likuran niyang tumutulong sa kanyang Miss Universe 2024 journey.
Nilinaw naman ni Italy na walang katotohanan ang mga naglipanang akusasyon tungkol sa kanyang diskuwalipikasyon sa pageant.
Dagdag pa sa pahayag, "This event has been difficult to assimilate emotionally, especially because of the time, effort, resources and support of the people who made my preparation to represent my country possible.
"To my Panamanian citizens, I want to tell you that I have always proudly carried the commitment to represent Panama, and I deeply regret not being able to continue on this path towards the competition.
"With this statement, I also hope to clarify any false information that may be circulating about my departure and ask for respect and privacy as l go through this time.
"Sincerely appreciate the support and affection received, and I reiterate my gratitude to all those who have trusted me during this process."

MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION STATEMENT ON MISS PANAMA
Inanunsiyo ng Miss Universe Organization (MUO) ang withdrawal umano ni Miss Universe Panama 2024 Italy Mora sa kumpetisyon nitong nakaraang November 1.
Sa kanilang pahayag, sinabi nilang ito ay napagdesisyunan daw ng kanilang disciplinary commission.
Sa kanilang isinagawang full investigation, lumabas na ang tanging resolba lamang umano sa isyu ay ang hindi pagtuloy ni Miss Panama sa competition.
Narito ang full statement ng MUO:
"The Miss Universe organization regrets to announce the withdrawal of Panama’s candidate from the Miss Universe 2024 pageant. This decision has been taken after a thorough evaluation by our disciplinary commission.
"The disciplinary committee, charged with maintaining the integrity and values of the pageant, conducted a full audit of the matter and, based on the information gathered and reviewed, has concluded that withdrawal is the most appropriate course of action under the current circumstances.
"It is important to note that we made this decision with the utmost respect for all parties involved. Our number one priority remains the welfare and transparency for all of our candidates, who exemplify diversity, talent and dedication.
"The Miss Universe organization wishes to stress the importance of maintaining confidentiality and respect during this process. Over the years, our pageant has been a beacon of diversity, inclusion and empowerment for women around the world.
"In this regard, adhering to strong ethical principles, such as confidentiality and respect, is essential to maintaining the integrity of our organization and the well-being of our participants.
"Confidentiality is a fundamental pillar of any disciplinary process. By protecting sensitive and personal information, we not only ensure fairness and equity in our decisions, but also the dignity of all involved.
"As we move forward, we reaffirm our dedication to these principles, inviting all our participants, supporters and media to join us in this commitment. THE REAL REASONS AS SPECULATED BY NETIZENS, PAGEANT SITES
Maraming haka-haka ang lumabas sa pageant sites at mga netizen na masugid na sumubaybay sa mga aktibidades ng Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
Diumano, nagkaroon daw ng hindi pagkakaintindihan sa pagitan ni Italy Mora at ng kandidata ng Dominican Republic na si Celinee Santos Frias.
Mag-roommates pa raw ang dalawa.
Nagkaroon diumano ng away ang dalawang beauty queens at humantong ito sa sakitan.
Ilang oras matapos naging viral ang issue, naglabas ng pahayag sa Instagram si Cesar Anel Rodriguez, ang national director ng Miss Universe Panama.
Gayunpaman, hindi niya sinabi ang totoong dahilan ng pag-atras ng kanilang kandidata.
Pati ang boyfriend ni Mora ay pinabulaanan din ang mga akusasyon ng netizens.
Sa kanyang Instagram, naglabas si Juan Abadia ng kanyang maikling pahayag ukol dito.
Ayon sa AFAM Hunter page sa Facebook, "Juan Abadia the boyfriend of Italy Mora Miss Universe Panama 2024 denies the rumors that her girlfriend had a fight with Dominican Republic nor she went out of the hotel with him. The rumors are not true. So before you post a context please verify first if it’s true."
Hanggang ngayon, wala pang makapagkumpirma kung ano nga ba ang totoong dahilan ng "pag-atras" ni Mora sa pageant.
Wala pa ring makapagsasabi kung totoo ang mga lumabas sa pageant sites.
Si Chelsea Manalo ang kinatawan ng Pilipinas sa Miss Universe 2024.
Sa ngayon, may 129 na bansa ang maglalaban-laban sa korona sa Miss Universe 2024 na gaganapin sa bansang Mexico sa darating na November 16.
