Emma Mary Tiglao blazed her way to victory as Miss Grand International 2025, securing a historic back-to-back win for the country at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 18, 2025.
The 30-year-old Kapampangan stunner succeeded CJ Opiaza, who won the same crown in 2024—marking the Philippines’ second consecutive triumph on the global stage.

MISS GRAND INTERNATIONAL 2025 EMMA TIGLAO'S EVENING GOWN LOOK
Emma embodied pure fieriness in a custom Rian Fernandez gown that shimmered like molten gold at dawn.
The creation featured a strapless, sculpted silhouette that hugged her form before unfurling into a spectacle of radiance and motion.
Thousands of hand-sewn crystals, sequins, and glass beads drenched the silk lamé fabric in gradients of amber, tangerine, and vermilion.
The bodice’s precision beadwork fanned outward in fractal bursts, forming a sunray motif that drew the eye to her waist.
A sheer mesh panel created the illusion of liquid fire spilling through her frame, while vivid orange feather plumes cascaded dramatically from the back and sleeves, enveloping her in a phoenix-like aura.
The gown’s train seemed to ignite as it moved—each feather catching light in waves of copper and flame.
Her winning glow was perfected by makeup artists Jerome Phokz Bognot and Mark Tabuzo, who balanced drama with divine softness.
Warm amber tones framed her almond eyes, while luminous skin and nude-coral lips delivered a goddess-like finish that mirrored the fiery hues of her gown.
Heart Abad Zafra completed the vision with flowing brunette waves brushed to a mirror-sheen—glossy, weightless, and cascading like a flame caught mid-dance.

EMMA'S WINNING ANSWER
During the final question round, Emma, along with the other finalists were asked: “Scammers are an online threat — a form of warfare often tied to human trafficking that has global consequences.
“Countries such as South Korea and the USA have launched severe crackdowns. What penalties do you think could help dismantle these operations?”
Miss Grand Philippines 2025 Emma's answer:
“As someone who reports this kind of stories, I really want to use the power of balance.
“Ask people to be educated and aware for us to not be scammed, and the help of the government to enhance their justice system for the scammers to be behind bars, to be accountable.
“'Cause one day I hope that we will live in a peaceful, peaceful world where no one should deceive just to survive.”
