Former 2NE1 member Park Bom has sparked confusion and concern after announcing that she filed a lawsuit against YG Entertainment’s founder and executive producer Yang Hyun Suk, for allegedly failing to pay her profits.
On Tuesday, October 22, 2025, Park Bom shared a photo in a now-deleted Instagram post showing what appeared to be a draft complaint, naming herself as the plaintiff and Yang Hyun Suk as the defendant on charges of "fraud and embezzlement.”
"Purpose of complaint: The defendant has not paid the plaintiff the profits that should have been rightfully paid to her for a long period of time, so I want a thorough investigation and legal punishment for this,” she wrote.

According to the document, Park Bom accused Yang Hyun Suk of failing to rightfully pay her profits generated from various activities, including music releases, performances, broadcasts, advertisements, events, and composition—an amount she claimed totaled 642.72 trillion won (around PHP26 trillion).

“Despite this, YG Entertainment did not provide settlement details, and not a single proper payment was made to the plaintiff.
"As a result, the plaintiff suffered serious economic loss and mental damage, which is a clear act of fraud and embezzlement.
“We request a thorough investigation and strict punishment for the defendant's illegal actions," she said.
PARK BOM'S AGENCY D-Nation Entertainment Releases Statement
After the post went viral, a representative from Park Bom's agency D-Nation Entertainment released a statement clarifying the situation.
In their statement published via Korean site Soompi.com, the agency denied the allegations and confirmed that no lawsuit had been filed.
They stated: "All settlements related to Park Bom’s 2NE1 activities have already been completed, and there is no record that the complaint uploaded to social media was ever filed."
D-Nation Entertainment added that Park Bom is currently on hiatus to focus on her health, saying, “We will do our best to support the artist in regaining her health.”
Earlier in August, the agency announced that Park Bom would be suspending her activities due to medical reasons.
This comes after months of concern from fans, following a series of heavily edited selfies and unverified claims the singer posted online—including one where she said she was dating actor Lee Min Ho—raising questions about her mental well-being.
