Pumanaw na ang itinatago umanong anak na babae ni Freddie Mercury na si "Bibi" sa edad na 48.
Binawian ng buhay si Bibi dahil sa chordoma, isang bihirang uri ng spinal cancer.
Kinumpirma ng asawa ni Bibi na si Thomas ang malungkot na balita sa British news outlet na Daily Mail.

Si Bibi ang inilihim umanong anak ni Mercury (Setyembre 5,1946- Nobyembre 24,1991), ang music icon na lead vocalist ng Queen at itinuturing na isa sa mga pinakamahusay na mang-aawit sa kasaysayan ng rock music.
Unang napabalitang may anak si Freddie noong Mayo 2025 dahil sa Love, Freddie, Freddie Mercury’s Secret Life and Love, ang biographical book na akda ni Lesley-Ann Jones.
Si Bibi umano ang bunga ng pananadaliang pakikipagrelasyon ni Freddie sa asawa ng kanyang kaibigan noong 1976.
Pero walang binanggit tungkol sa pagkakaroon niya ng anak sa biographical musical drama movie na Bohemian Rhapsody na ipinalabas sa mga sinehan noong 2018.
Ang asawa ni Bibi na si Thomas ang nakipag-ugnayan sa Daily Mail para ibalita nng pumanaw na si Bibi.
Naulila rin ni Bibi ang dalawang anak na lalaki nila ni Thomas na may mga edad na 9 at 7.
“B is now with her beloved and loving father in the world of thoughts. Her ashes were scattered to the wind over the Alps,” pagbabahagi ni Thomas.

AUTHOR LESLEY-ANN JONES MOURNS THE PASSING OF BIBI
Naglabas na rin ng pahayag si Lesley-Ann Jones tungkol kay Bibi, na naging malapit daw sa kanya habang isinusulat ang libro tungkol sa sikreto ni Freddie.
Saad niya: “I am devastated by the loss of this woman who became my close friend, who had come to me with a selfless aim: to brush aside all those who have had free rein with Freddie's story for 32 years, to challenge their lies and their rewriting of his life, and to deliver the truth.
"Her cancer reared originally when she was very young. It's the real reason why the family relocated quite frequently, so that they could access the best treatment at the time for chordoma: a rare form of spinal cancer that was always going to kill her.
"She had been in remission for some years when it reared again. That was when she decided to contact me. She had read my 2021 book about Freddie, Love of My Life.
"She emailed me to say that I had come closer to the real Freddie in that book than any previous writer or film maker — she particularly loathed Queen's film Bohemian Rhapsody — but that there were still some things I should know.
"We worked together for 4 years to get the book written and published — on borrowed time."

THE SECRET DAUGHTER OF FREDDIE MERCURY
Sa librong isinulat ni Jones, itinago sa alias na B ang tunay na pangalan ni Bibi — na isang doktor at tahimik na naninirahan sa France, kasama ang kanyang asawa at dalawang anak.
Ayon kay Jones, kinikilala ni Freddie bilang anak niya si Bibi, na itinago sa publiko ang pagkatao bilang pangangalaga sa kanyang pribadong pamumuhay.
Sinasabing ang "Bijou (Jewel)" at "Don’t Try So Hard" ang mga kantang komposisyon ni Freddie para kay Bibi.
Ilang buwan bago inilabas ang Freddie, Love of My Life, ipinahayag ni Bibi, sa pamamagitan ni Jones, ang saloobin tungkol sa desisyon niyang lumantad at ipaalam sa publiko ang aniya'y katotohanan.
Pahayag niya: “I didn't want to share my Dad with the whole world. After his death, I had to learn to live with the attacks against him, the misrepresentations of him, and with the feeling that my Dad now belonged to everyone.
“I cried and mourned my Dad, while fans all around the world mourned Freddie. When you are 15 years old, it's not easy.
“I had to become an adult without him, and live all the structuring moments and events without his support.
“For 30 years I had to build my life and family without him and accept that he wouldn't be there to share the happy moments with us.
“For 30 years, while the rest of the world was reinterpreting Mercury's life, his music and all that he had been, I needed to have my Dad just for me and my family. How could I have spoken before?”
Pinag-aaralan ng naulilang pamilya ni Bibi na ilabas sa publiko ang mga larawan niya, pati na ang mga litrato nila ni Freddie noong maliit pa siya, na matibay na ebidensya ng kanilang matatag na relasyon hanggang sa bawian ng buhay ang kanyang ama.
