Pinalagan ng pamilya ng namayapang Meteor Garden star na si Barbie Hsu ang mga lumabas na balitang may alitan sila ng asawa ng aktres na si Koo Jun Yup, na mas kilala bilang DJ Koo.
Itinuturo pa ring dahilan ang naiwang yaman at ari-arian ni Barbie. Tinawag ng pamilya na "harmful speculation" ang nasabing balita.
Lagpas isang taon na mula nang pumanaw ang Taiwanese actress noong February 2, 2025.
Siya ay 48 years old.

BARBIE HSU MOTHER: I now call Koo my son.
Ayon sa ulat ng The Korean Times noong February 11, 2026, naulat ng media sa Taiwan na naghahanda diumano si Koo ng legal action laban kay Huang Chun-mei, ina ng namayapang aktres.
Kaugnay pa rin daw ito ng isyu sa estate ni Barbie.
Diumano, kumuha ng abogado ang ina ni Barbie para raw mapaghandaan ang reklamo.
Mariin itong pinabulaanan ng ina ng aktres at sinabing maganda raw ang relasyon nito sa manugang.
Sabi ni Huang Chun-mei: "I detest lawsuits. They waste people and money.
“I now call Koo my son. He deeply loved my daughter and respects me. He is part of our family.”
Sinegundahan ito ng kapatid ni Barbie na si Dee Hsu.
Sabi ni Dee Hsu, “Whoever creates this sort of rumor is malicious and has ill intent. Koo gave my sister pure love and real happiness.
"Our family is grateful to him. He is our family. We will protect him.”
Umaasa rin siyang matigil na ang aniya'y nagkalat na maling balita tungkol sa kanilang pamilya.

DJ KOO TO TURNOVER BARBIE HSU ASSETS TO MOTHER-IN-LAW
Nauna nang naiulat na nasa 600 million yuan, o katumbas ng PHP4.7 billion, ang total estate na naiwan ni Barbie.
Mapupunta raw ito sa asawang si DJ Koo, at sa 10-year-old daughter at 8-year-old son ni Barbie.
Pero noong February 6, 2025, sinabi na ni Koo na plano raw niyang ibigay ang lahat ng aniya'y pinaghirapang assets ni Barbie sa ina ng aktres.
"Seo Hee-won" ang Korean name ng aktres.
Pahayag pa niya noon: "Please, can you not just stay still so that Heewon can rest in peace? Please, I beg you.
"And I will tell you about the precious legacy Heewon left behind.
"All of that legacy was saved through the sweat and tears of Hee-won while she was alive to protect her beloved family, so I plan to give all authority over me to my mother-in-law.
"I plan to take legal action through a lawyer to protect my children until they become adults so that bad people cannot touch them."
