K-pop stars T.O.P and Nana are officially off the market.
Early on October 2, 2026, news of the pair’s relationship made headlines after Korean media outlet Dispatch reported that their romance began months after they first worked together on T.O.P’s music video, in which Nana starred as the female lead.
According to the report, translated into English: “They developed into a couple in June after Top offered Nana the lead role in the music video for his solo album's title track last January.”
Dispatch also said that the two had been making time for each other despite their busy schedules, and were recently spotted enjoying a date near Achiul Village in Guri City, an area close to Nana’s home.
Shortly after the report surfaced, both T.O.P’s and Nana’s agencies confirmed that the two celebrities are currently dating.
In a statement sent to the press and translated by Soompi, T.O.P’s agency TOPSPOT PICTURES said: “They first met while filming [T.O.P’s] music video and formed a connection, after which they grew closer, and [their connection] developed into a romantic relationship around this past June.”
Nana’s agency Sublime also confirmed the relationship, stating: “They formed a connection while filming [T.O.P’s] music video, and they are currently happily dating.”
The confirmation delighted fans.
T.O.P, born Choi Seung-hyun, rose to fame as a member of K-pop powerhouse BIGBANG, one of South Korea's most influential boy groups.
The group scored major hits including “Lies,” “Haru Haru,” “Fantastic Baby,” “Bang Bang Bang,” “Blue,” and “Still Life.”
In 2023, T.O.P announced his departure from BIGBANG and has since focused on his solo music career.
He later built an acting career through projects including 71: Into the Fire (2010), Commitment (2013), Tazza: The Hidden Card (2014), and the second season of Netflix's Squid Game (2024).
Meanwhile, Nana, whose real name is Im Jin-ah, first entered the entertainment industry as a member of girl group After School and its popular sub-unit Orange Caramel.
She later transitioned into acting and built a successful career through projects such as The Good Wife (2016), Kill It (2019), Into the Ring (2020), Glitch (2022), Mask Girl (2023), My Man Is Cupid (2023), and most recently, the Netflix period drama The Scandal (2026).
