Google Philippines recently released its annual Year in Search list of most-searched topics. The biggest search engine disclosed several lists, including this year's top-trending male celebrities.
The list featured a diverse selection ranging from politicians to celebrities and even heroes.
Pope Francis, who paid a visit to the Philippines in January 2015, topped this year's list of most-searched male celebrities. He is followed by Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Alden Richards. The Kapuso actor/host rose to fame after his tandem with Maine Mendoza (aka Yaya Dub) became viral on social media.
In the local edition, Alden outranked former NBA star Lamar Odom, who is Google's most-searched celebrity worldwide.
