It seems like Angel Locsin misses doing telefantasyas.
Last Thursday, June 16, Angel posted the trailer of Mulawin: The Movie on her Instagram account (@therealangellocsin) as her #ThrowbackThursday entry.
She also tagged her Mulawin co-stars Richard Gutierrez and Dennis Trillo, GMA Films executive producer Joey Abacan, and one of Mulawin the TV series's producers Helen Rose Sese.
It can be remembered that it was this telefantasya that catapulted Angel into stardom. In this GMA-7 series, she played the half-human, half-bird Alwina, who is the love interest of Aguiluz, played by Richard.

Before she was given this big break, Angel starred in the series Twin Hearts, Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw Pa Rin, and Click, where she played twin sister to Richard.
After the series, her tandem with Richard had a huge following. They were then tapped to do five movies: Let The Love Begin, I'll Always Love You, Sigaw, The Promise, and Mano Po 5: Gua Ai Di.
She was also able to star in different Kapuso shows wherein she played central characters, like: Darna, Majika, and Asian Treasures.
In 2007, she transferred to ABS-CBN and did several series like Lobo, Imortal, Only You, and The Legal Wife.

She was also able to do different movies for Star Cinema: Love Me Again, In The Name of Love, Four Sisters and a Wedding, and her last movie to date, Everything About Her.
Angel is also supposed to reprise her role as Darna for a Star Cinema movie but unfortunately, she had to back out due to a slipped disc.
However, there are rumors saying that she might still be able to do the role.
