Change is coming to Philippine television's primetime block.
New TV shows of rival TV networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7 are slated to begin airing this Monday, September 19, causing a shuffle in the highly coveted timeslots at night.
This was ushered by the announcement that Till I Met You--starring James Reid, Nadine Lustre and JC Santos--will be moved to the third slot on the Kapamilya primetime block.
This will be the new order of Kapmilya primetime shows starting September 19:
1st slot - Ang Probinsyano
2nd slot - Magpahanggang Wakas
3rd slot - Till I Met You
It will be recalled that in the past, the third timeslot was occupied by the previous Jadine teleserye On The Wings of Love (OTWOL).
Back then, the order was as follows: Ang Probinsyano (starring Coco Martin), Dolce Amore (starring Liza Sberano and Enrique Gil) then On The Wings of Love.
On September 15, Dreamscape announced that Till I Met You will move to the third timeslot just like OTWOL.
This comes just three weeks after TIMY aired its pilot episode last August 29, 2016.

Based on AGB Nielsen ratings, Till I Met You registered a TV rating of 17.2% in Urban Luzon last September 14.
This is much lower compared to the TV rating of its rival show, Descendants of the Sun, which got 23.4% that day.
Based on Kantar Media-TNS data, however, Till I Met You has more viewers nationwide. Last September 14, Till I Met You got 26.1% while the Koreanovela Descendants of the Sun registered 21.1%.
MAGPAHANGGANG WAKAS. Starting Monday, the second timeslot on ABS-CBN will be occupied by the Jericho Rosales-Arci Munoz teleserye, Magpahanggang Wakas.
In this new Kapamilya soap, Jericho is cast as Waldo, the childhood friend who shares a deep love with Aryann (Arci Munoz).
They both face conflict when Waldo accidentally killed a man who attempted to rape Aryann.
Waldo was convicted of the crime and was sent to prison. Feeling responsible for Waldo’s misfortune, Aryann took on different jobs to raise money to get him out of jail and met Tristan (John Estrada) who gave her the assistance that she was desperately looking for.
Not soon after being freed however, Waldo faced the vengeful brother of the man he killed and was fatally shot. Waldo falls off a cliff and drifts into the sea which made everyone, except Aryann, believe that he was dead.
Having slowly accepted Waldo’s death, Aryann moved on and found her way to Tristan, the man who didn’t take advantage of her vulnerability during her darkest times. The two fall in love with each other and were set to be wed.
During the announcement of their wedding however, Aryann realizes that Waldo is alive. Waldo and Aryann cross paths but Aryann is no longer sure if she still shares the love they once had.
GMA NETWORK PRIMETIME LINEUP. As for GMA-7, its new lineup on Monday will be as follows:
1st slot - Encantadia
2nd slot - Alyas Robin Hood
3rd slot - Someone To Watch Over Me
Encantadia is about to enter its new chapter as director Mark Reyes recently revealed that the retelling from the 2005 version is already over.
Someone To Watch Over Me is the Kapuso primetime show of Tom Rodriguez and Lovi Poe that started airing on September 5, 2016.
ALYAS ROBIN HOOD. The controversial show Alyas Robin Hood will also air its pilot episode on September 19.
International media were quick to brand the Kapuso show as "the Philippines' Arrow Knock Off" even though Alyas Robin Hood has not yet aired on television.
In the American series Arrow, Stephen Amell plays a playboy billionaire who becomes a hooded vigilante who fights crime using a bow and arrow.

In this action-drama series, Dingdong Dantes is cast as Pepe de Jesus, a lower-middle class lawyer who will be accused of committing a crime that he did not commit.
Dingdong studied archery to bring life to his character who will suffer from
social injustice, which is why he becomes a hero to the poor.
This upcoming Kapuso teleserye will also feature Miss World 2013 Megan Young, Andrea Torres, Sid Lucero, Jaclyn Jose, Cherie Gil, and Christopher de Leon, among others.
