“Answered secret prayer” kung ituring ni Bettina Carlos ang ginawang proposal din ng asawang si Mikki Eduardo sa kanyang anak na si Amanda Lucia “Gummy” Carlos isang gabi bago ang kanilang kasal.
Ikinasal sina Bettina at Mikki sa Tagaytay noong December 2.
December 1, nag-propose si Mikki sa anak ni Bettina na si Gummy. Tinanong ni Mikki ang bata kung papayag itong maging ama niya.
Lahad ni Bettina sa kanyang post sa Instagram kagabi, December 4, “December 1, 2020 The night before our wedding, @mikki.e.eduardo proposed to @gummy_carlos.
“He asked her of she will allow him to be her father and raise her up to the fear and knowledge of the Lord. To which she said YES!
“This was an answered secret prayer for me. One I never told anyone but the Lord. One I asked from Him twice.
“I asked God to confirm that if Mikki really is His best for us that he would give Gummy a ring too. After all he is not just marrying me but her as well.
“God heard and heeded my prayer. Hallelujah!”
“I HAD NO EXACT WORDS TO SAY”
May hiwalay namang Instagram post si Mikki sa kanyang Instagram ukol sa proposal niya sa anak ni Bettina.
Ayon kay Mikki, mas kinabahan pa siya sa proposal niya kay Gummy kaysa sa proposal niya kay Bettina noong October 7.
Lahad ni Mikki, “I was more nervous proposing to Gummy than when I was with Bettinna. There were minimal guides/templates online.
"I already had my sister in law @teteduardo make a ring similar to the one she made for Bettinna. But beyond that, i had no exact words to say.
“What gave me comfort are the words of God in Rev 3:20 ‘Here I am! I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice, i will come in and eat with him, and he with me.’
“Was reminded that even if Jesus is Lord, He doesn’t force himself on people’s lives.
“God asks if we want Him as our own Father in our lives.”
Dahil sa mga salita ng Diyos na ito, nagkaroon daw siya ng lakas ng loob.
Ani Mikki, “And I just took off from that, I asked Gummy if she would accept me to be her father. Thankfully she said yes”
