Engaged na ang magkasintahang Morissette Amon at Dave Lamar.
Maghahatinggabi ng Lunes, December 21, inanunsiyo ng 24-year-old Kapamilya singer ang engagement niya kay Dave sa pamamagitan ng Instagram.
Lagpas dalawang buwan na silang engaged.
Pero ngayon lamang nila ito ipinaalam sa publiko dahil kailangan pa raw nilang magpaalam sa kanilang mga magulang at malalapit na kamag-anak.
Mensahe ni Morissette, “more than just an 11:11 wish, you're an answered prayer. I love you @davejlamar, always have and always will.
“after finally letting our families and most of our closest friends know in the past couple of months since this happened, we're finally ready to share it to the world.. WE'RE ENGAGED!”
Kalakip ng kanyang post ay ang kamay ni Morissette kung saan makikita ang isang kumikinang na engagement ring sa kanyang ring finger.
Sa isa namang larawan ay makikita ang magkapatong na dalawang kamay, kung saan kita pa rin ang singsing sa daliri ni Morissette. Nasa background naman ang nakamamanghang skyline ng lungsod.
Siyam na taon nang magkakilala sina Morissette at Dave bago pa man sila maging magkatunggali sa The Voice of the Philippines Season 1 noong 2013.
Sabi pa ni Morissette sa kanyang post, “Nine years since we've met, bestfriends for seven, our second round at love, each other's firsts.. and now, last and only.
“thank You Lord for all that you're blessing us with, keeping us strong and allowing us to live our dreams together.. our love story is great because You orchestrated it, and we're so excited for this next chapter of our lives.
“also, what an absolutely breathtaking sunset you shared with us when DJ decided to surprise me and propose!”
“YES TO FOREVER”
Alam daw ni Morissette na may blessing ng Panginoon ang kanilang relasyon.
Sabi niya, “and to the one whom my soul loves, this is it. even before I knew, God already went ahead and has blessed us in ways I couldn't have imagined.
“our journey wasn't at all perfect, but it's beautiful and ultimately, ours. thank you for staying..
“you didn't just fight for me, but also believed in all that I can do, even when I didn't.”
Kaya raw isang malaking “YES” ang sagot niya sa proposal ni Dave, at alam daw niyang ito na ang makakasama niya habambuhay.
Saad ni Morissette, “I am looking forward to everything we will learn and accomplish together, I mean we've already been at it and this is only the beginning..
"as you used to say "endless possibilities!" and as your song goes, this ain't "Something Only We Know" anymore hehehe..
