Idol Philippines grand winner Zephanie Dimaranan, who now uses the screen name Zephanie, returned to the ABS-CBN stage yesterday, March 2, 2021.
She was the mystery singer in the “Hide and Sing” segment of It’s Showtime, with Bernadette Allysson as the guest contestant.
After unmasking her disguise, Zephanie performed “Tinadhana Sa ‘Yo,” the composition she interpreted for the Himig 11 songwriting competition.
The It’s Showtime performance of Zephanie marks her comeback to ABS-CBN months after her stint on TV5.
This is also the first of Zephanie’s upcoming appearances in the show as all interpreters are expected to appear on ASAP Natin ‘To before Himig 11's grand finals on March 21.
Zephanie was a regular performer of TV5 and Brightlight Productions’ Sunday Noontime Live (SNL), which ran from October 2019 to January 2021. She led the segment “Ultimate Vocal Showdown.”
Zephanie’s management, Cornerstone Entertainment, is the line producer of SNL.
Prior to SNL, Zephanie was part of ASAP Natin ‘To with fellow singing competition winners Elha Nympha and Janine Berdin who remain performers of ASAP to this day.
