Ito ang naging pahayag ng anak ni Kris na si Bimby Aquino upang tuldukan na ang rumors tungkol sa kanyang gender identity.
Una nang hinarap ni Bimby ang isyung ito noong December 2017.
Balik na tanong ng noon ay sampung taong gulang na si Bimby sa mga bashers, "Why would you judge a child?"
Pag-sang-ayon ni Kris, "Don't judge a child, and don't make the decision for the child.”
Dagdag ni Bimby, "It's because we're still learning about ourselves and puberty hasn't struck for me yet."
Sa bisperas naman ng 14th birthday ni Bimby noong Lunes, April 19, 2021, nagkaroon ng heart-to-heart talk ang mag-ina tungkol dito at sa iba pang mga isyung ibinabato ng netizens kanila.
In-upload ni Kris ang video ng kanilang pag-uusap sa Facebook noong Biyernes ng gabi, April 23, 2021.
Nang tanungin ni Kris ang anak kung ano ang nararamdaman nito sa tuwing nagkokomento ang netizens tungkol sa kanyang gender identity, sagot ni Bimby, "Wala, I don't feel anything."
Patuloy na paliwanag nito, "I just feel like, 'Sige, if you think I'm gay, all right, dude. But you do realize na that gay community sa Philippines is a strong community.
"And you do realize na I'm 13 [years old]. I'm 14 in a few minutes."
"So parang like, it did not go through my mind, like, 'cause I know what I am. I'm straight. I'm straight as an arrow."
Diretsong tanong naman ni Kris: "Sagutin natin once and for all, have you questioned yourself about that?"
Mabilis na sagot ni Bimby, "No, not at all..."
Dagdag na tanong ni Kris, "So you like girls?"
Tugon ni Bimby, "I love girls."
Para sa bunsong anak ni Kris, walang kaso sa kanya kung tingin ng ibang tao ay gay siya lalo't alam nito ang tunay niyang pagkatao.
Pero ayaw niya yung komento na may halong pangungutya sa mga gays.
Dagdag nito, "Ako lang ha, they're entitled to their own opinion on what they think about me just as long as you don't, like, attack me.
"Like if you say, 'I think he's gay,' I'll respect that. I'll say no, I'm not gay. But if you say, 'Uy, beki si Bimb, kadiri,' that's wrong.
"As long as you debate with someone at may respeto ka sa tao, okay lang, sure. If you have different opinions, okay lang iyan, sure."
Buo naman ang suportang ibibigay ni Kris sa kanyang bunsong anak ano man ang piliin nitong landas.
"I wanna bring this out also. Whatever you are I'll accept...
"I really don't care, honestly. And, you know, parang whatever you choose to be, it will be fine with me for as long as you excel.
"If you're gonna be gay or whatever you're gonna be, you better be the best at the profession you choose to be.
"That's just my feeling. And I am so anti-homophobia."
BIMBY'S TYPE OF GIRL
Samantala, inusisa na rin ni Kris kung ano ang tipong babae ng kanyang bunso.
Sagot ni Bimby, "I like brunette. Brunette or blonde. That's all the colors... As long as she has nice hair, nice legs."
Hindi naman mapigilan ni Kris na mapa-react sa sagot ng anak nila ni James Yap.
Dagdag ni Bimby, "Mom, that's not perverted, it's legs. Malamang I'll say boobs, momma. Nice face, good neck."
Ngunit para kay Bimby, mas tinitignan nito ang personalidad ng isang babae kesa sa pisikal na kaanyuan.
"Let's be realistic, people judge books by their cover. And if their cover is not great but your personality is great, they have to open the book muna to see what's inside."
Dagdag nito, "I want her to be smart... very generous 'cause I learned that from you. Di ba, you said once, 'Bimb, if you're gonna get a girl, make sure she's as generous as your mama.'
