ABS-CBN released its special Summer Station ID today, May 30, 2021.
Titled “Feel Good Pilipinas,” the station ID highlights its partnerships with its current broadcast platforms, namely: A2Z Channel 11 and TV5, the two free TV channels where it shares blocktime arrangements.
This has been one of ABS-CBN’s solutions to serve its audience because of its absence on free TV, after Congress junked the renewal of its broadcast franchise in July 2020.
Featuring an upbeat soundtrack performed by BGYO and KZ Tandingan, the station ID has lyrics that mention A2Z and TV5: “Feel the beat, feel the init / From A2Z we can do it / Mga kapatid wala kayong limit.”
"Kapatid" is TV5's term of endearment for its loyal viewers.
A separate part shows Kapamilya viewers watching ABS-CBN programs FPJ's Ang Probinsyano on TV5 and Maalaala Mo Kaya on A2Z.
iWant TFC and WeTV iFlix, ABS-CBN's additional digital streaming platforms, are also featured in the station ID.
NEW KAPAMILYAS AND OTHER ABS-CBN STARS
ABS-CBN stars with current and upcoming shows show off their moves and grooves, and flaunt their feel-good, summery vibes amid a backdrop of bright, cheery hues.
Kicking off the star-studded roll call is new Kapamilya Janine Gutierrez, whose frame was shown next to Paulo Avelino's. They are paired in the upcoming romantic-comedy series Marry Me, Marry You.
Another new Kapamilya, Sunshine Dizon, appears in her first ABS-CBN station ID with her Marry Me, Marry You co-stars Cherry Pie Picache and Gina Pareño.
Judy Ann Santos and Angel Locsin, who host their respective weekend programs Paano Kita Mapapasalamatan and Iba ‘Yan, radiate with summer warmth and cheer.
Jodi Sta. Maria is also given a solo frame in the station ID. She will top-bill the series called The Broken Marriage Vow, which is the Pinoy adaptation of the British psychological drama series Doctor Foster.
Lookin' cool by the pool, Huwag Kang Mangamba lead stars Kyle Echarri, Francine Diaz, Andrea Brillantes, and Seth Fedelin were the first among the roster of artists shown in the station ID.
The veteran singers of ASAP Natin ‘To (L-R) Erik Santos, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Ogie Alcasid, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, and Regine Velasquez add sizzle to the station ID.
JM de Guzman, Yam Concepcion, and Gerald Anderson of Init Sa Magdamag danced to the beat of “Feel Good Pilipinas.”
Also in the station ID are the hosts of It’s Showtime, led by Vice Ganda in all his sunny splendor.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano lead star Coco Martin had a solo frame while some of his co-stars like Rowell Santiago, Lorna Tolentino, Ara Mina, Tirso Cruz III, and John Arcilla had a group shot dancing to the station ID’s theme song.
The love teams of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, and Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, are hotness personified.
