Isa sa napag-usapan ng dalawa ay tungkol sa bashers na talamak sa social media.

Pahayag ni Gretchen tungkol dito, “Love or hate, I welcome it all naman. We don’t live naman for the approval of people.

"We don’t live for, okay, you know, bashers.

"That doesn’t bother me anymore. I’m 51."

Nakakaapekto pa ba ang pangungutya o pamumuna ng netizens sa kanya?

Patotoo ni Gretchen, “Do they? They used to.

“When I was so much younger, yes, they used to.

"Because I lived in a world where I felt all that they thought of me or their opinion would matter, and that’s all it matters, but not anymore.

“I’m 51, I mean, you know, really? How can all your opinion just matter?

WHAT SHE LEARNED FROM TONYBOY

Lahad ni Gretchen, “You know, I think Tony or Dada, I call him Dada, I remember a time wherein, you know, it was a long time ago when my mom, when my mom had, like, opinions on me at that time.

“And I was really, terribly distraught.

"And Tony told me just one thing, because he felt, like, I was really gonna go, you know, down, down, down the hill.

“And then he said, ‘Okay, Baba...’ he calls me Baba for Baby.

“He was, ‘Baba, I’ll ask you one question,’ because I was really getting depressed.

“He goes, ‘Will it matter? Will your life change?’ He’s really good at that.

"And then I said, ‘No, no, not really.’ And then he said, ‘Will then... will the opinion of other’s change your life? Will it matter?’

“And I said, ‘Now it does.’ And then he goes, ‘But for long? And then in the future?’

“I said, ‘No, no. Really. I can hide here at home or wherever.’

“He said, ‘Exactly. So what do you feel now, that, you know, now that you know that it won’t really, you know, affect your life?’

"And then he said to me, ‘Then, why are you bothered?’

“Then it opened my life… you know, into another.

“I learned, ‘Oo nga, ‘no?' I mean, do they have control of my life, my lifestyle or anything else in my…
