Actress Kris Bernal, 32, and chef Perry Choi, 37, finally tied the knot after four years of being in a relationship.
Their church wedding ceremony was held this Saturday, September 25, at St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Magallanes Village, Makati City.
Upon her entry at the church, Kris looked every inch the radiant bride in her beautiful Mak Tumang wedding gown.

She was seen turning emotional as she slowly walked down the aisle as the wedding singer was singing Yeng Constantino's "Ikaw."
Kris's parents Edgardo and Analyn Bernal joined her midway and then handed her over to the happy groom.

By the time the priest was preaching the homily, the couple seemed more relaxed as they kept gazing at each other.
Kris noticeably gave Perry a loving look when the priest told them to keep their marriage "brimming with love and happiness."
The priest underlined, "Huwag tipirin."

After the ceremony, the couple and guests will head to Conrad Manila for the wedding reception.
The couple invited only a few relatives and close friends for the occasion.
HOW KRIS AND PERRY MET
Their love story began when they met as business partners when Kris put up her first business which was a burger joint called Meat Kris in 2016.
She found out in the Internet about ESV International Corp, a meat supplier for big restaurants in the country. It's a business owned by Perry's family where he also works as a chef.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in March 2020, Kris recalled: "We started as friends and business partners.
"Supplier siya ng beef patty ng Meat Kris. Kasi naghahanap ako ng supplier. Nilapitan ko yung company nila. Siya yung chef.
"Siya yung gumawa ng mga recipe [for Meat Kris burgers]. Dun kami naging close."
Perry, for his part, candidly shared that he didn't know who Kris was at first.
"Ginoogle ko pa siya kung sino siya. Hindi kasi ako nanonood ng TV. News lang," Perry admitted.
Kris didn't seem to mind and only laughed at Perry whom she describes as very camera-shy and a man of few words.
They also became business partners for the Korean restaurant, House of Gogi, that Kris opened in March 2020.

SUPPORTIVE BOYRIEND
Perry proved his love for Kris by letting her grow as an independent woman.
Through the years that they've been in a relationship, Perry has been very supportive of Kris's showbiz career.
In her vlog in July 2021, Kris asked Perry while they were vacationing in Batangas if there was a time he felt jealous of any of her leading men whom she kissed on screen.
Perry replied, "Hindi. Bakit ako magseselos, e, work yun?"
When prodded if he feared that she might fall for her onscreen partner, Perry explained that he's not the type who would feel insecure about things out of his control.
Hypothetically speaking, he told Kris: "Kung ma-in love ka, ikaw na yun. Hindi mo naman mapipigilan yung ganun.
"Kahit magselos ka, di ka naman babalikan ng babae. Once magustuhan na niya yung isa, dun na siya. Kasi, anong point?"
He also maintained that he never doubted Kris's faithfulness as his girlfriend, just like he never flirted with other girls throughout their relationship.

ENGAGEMENT BEFORE THE PANDEMIC
Kris and Perry got engaged on February 6, 2020.
It was supposed to be a birthday party that Kris organized for Perry, but she got the surprise of her life when he asked to marry her that same night.
In her March 2020 interview with PEP.ph, Kris admitted that she didn't answer Perry right away because her mom was not present during his birthday.
"Wala kasi yung mom ko. Nag-alaga siya ng mga apo. So di ako makapag-decide.
"Lahat kasi ng desisyon ko buong buhay ko, nanay ko talaga, nakadepende ako sa kanya.
"But then, sabi niya nagpaalam na daw siya a month ahead. Pumunta pala siya sa mommy ko."
Perry added that he bought the engagement ring sometime in 2019, and he had an idea that Kris would have wanted an emerald-cut diamond ring.
To which, Kris agreed and happily showed to the press what her ring looks like.
At the time, they already knew that they want a Catholic wedding.
"Church talaga kasi very religious both families, so Catholic church," Kris added.

WEDDING DELAYS AND REALIZATIONS
The COVID-19 pandemic happened less than two months after their engagement.
Kris initially thought that it wouldn't get in the way of her wedding plans since she was eyeing a May 15, 2021 wedding, which is two days shy of her 32nd birthday.
She already had everything set, from the church and reception venue to the suppliers.
But the whole thing got postponed because of the surge of COVID cases last summer.
Kris moved the wedding date to June 5, 2021, but she had to postpone it again and look for a date where all her suppliers would be available.
She finally secured September 25, but with a church venue that's different from her original plan.
But the despite the setbacks in her wedding preps, Kris felt that everything fell into place for her wedding.
She said in her previous vlogs that the pandemic has taught her not just the ability to cope with tough times, but it also made her appreciate Perry's presence in her life more.
Kris told Perry: "Mas minahal kita. Na-appreciate talaga kita kasi tuwing may problema akong sasabihin sa 'yo, alam na alam mo, at gagaw ka talaga ng way to make me feel better.
"It's not always sunshines and rainbows in business. May times na pinanghihinaan ako ng loob...
"I'm so thankful na I have someone in my life na puwede ko takbuhan."
