May Season 2 ba ang Squid Game? If so, kailan ito ipapalabas?

“It is quite tiring just thinking about it. But if I were to do it, I would certainly not do it alone.

“I’d consider using a writers’ room and would want multiple experienced directors.”

Merong romance, drama, comedy, action, heist, film noir, at period.

Kabilang sa mga pelikulang nilabasan niya ay An Affair (1998), City of the Rising Sun (1999), Il Mare (2000), Last Present (2001), The Last Witness (2001), Over The Rainbow (2002), Oh! Brothers (2003), Typhoon (2005), The Accidental Gangster and the Mistaken Courtesan (2008), The Housemaid (2010), The Thieves (2012), New World (2013), The Face Reader (2013), Big Match (2014), Assassination (2015), Tik Tok (2016), Operation Chromite (2016), Warriors of the Dawn (2017), at Deliver Us From Evil (2020).

“Outwardly, Korean entertainment seems to be doing very well,” paliwanag ni Direktor Hwang sa Variety.

“Think of BTS, Parasite, "Gangnam Style" or Crash Landing on You. But South Korean society is also very competitive and stressful.

“We have 50 million people in a small place. And, cut off from the continent of Asia by North Korea, we have developed an island mentality.

“Some of that stress is carried over in the way that we are always preparing for the next crisis.

“In some ways it is a motivator. It helps us ask what more should be done. But such competition also has side-effects.”

PLAYER 069

Inspired iyon sa Episode 3 (“The Man with the Umbrella”).

Ini-announce ng Serenitea sa Facebook ang kanilang promo, “Who’s participating in Serenitea’s Squid Rings Game? Look up, the prize is obviously these crispy and tasty squid rings that you can’t resist!

“So, are you playing?”
