Makalipas ang dalawang taon, muling nagbabalik sa music scene ang singer na si Eric E., pero nagdesisyon siyang gamitin na ang kanyang buong pangalan na Eric Ejercito.

Si Eric ay anak ng aktor na si ER Ejercito, na nabigong manalong alkalde sa Calamba City nitong May 9, 2022 elections.
Nagpapasalamat si Eric sa mga magulang na suportado ang kanyang singing career.
Nagsimula siya noong 2018 nang isulat, i-produce, at i-record ang "Fearless."
"They are very supportive but I just show them the final result, like, 'Hey, ito na yung nagawa ko.' I just show them when it’s done.
"They also like seeing it kapag tapos na. They’re very supportive. They go for whatever makes me happy and I’m just lucky to have that kind of support too.
"Like for example, I wanna color my hair silver. They’re not, like, 'Whaaat?' They know that there must be a reason why. Both my mom and dad are just supportive," kuwento ni Eric.
SPORTING A NEW LOOK
Ang silver-colored hair ni Eric, na bahagi ng reinvention niya, ay nakuha niya sa Tokyo Ghoul, ang sikat na Japanese dark fantasy manga series.
Ang new look ni Eric ang dahilan kaya napagkakamalan din siyang K-pop artist.
"This is inspired by this anime Tokyo Ghoul where Kaneki has black and white hair. So in the music video of 'Fool,' I have black and white hair.
"I resonate with this character. I like this character so let me try it. Bumagay naman.
"My style is a representation of myself, I must say. Also I’m a solo act. I’m not in a group like most here.
"So as far as comparison, surely, it’s fresh for the P-pop scene. I’m just being me," ani Eric.
Nangangarap siyang magkaroon ng collaboration kay Billy Crawford dahil malakas ang impluwensiya nito sa kanya.
Saad ni Eric, "I would like to collaborate with Billy Crawford ‘coz growing up, seeing him as the first Filipino international pop guy.
"Sa girls, I’m gonna keep it on a down note for the moment. She’s an artista and a fantastic singer.
"That’s cooking up real soon. Don’t worry, it won’t take two years again."
ON HIS NEW SINGLE
Ang "Fool" na isang energetic at electro-tinged single ang ipino-promote ngayon ni Eric, at isa rin siya sa mga direktor ng music video na malapit nang i-release.
Ayon kay Eric, pinagsama-sama sa "Fool" ang kanyang pagmamahal sa paggawa ng pelikula, pagkanta, art design, at performance.
Aniya, "All of these things are a work of art and I’m merging them into ang masterpiece.
"I want to be known as an over-all versatile artist. The guy who can literally make it happen from the very first step up to this moment. I am managing to give it my all every single day.
"Don’t get me wrong, it’s really tough producing and performing simultaneously and all.
"But I’m just grateful for the people I’ve worked with and helped me along the way and we were able to come up with this fantastic project that I’m truly proud of."
