Naglabas ng saloobin ang TV5 news anchor na si Gretchen Ho kaugnay ng pagpatay sa ama ng Ateneo gunman na si Dr. Chao Tiao Yumol.

Si Yumol, 38, ang suspek sa naganap na pamamaril sa Ateneo De Manila University noong Linggo, July 24, 2022, kung saan napaslang ang dating mayor ng Lamitan, Basilan na si Rose Rurijay, ang long-time executive assistant nitong si Victor Capistrano, at ang on-duty security guard ng unibersidad na si Jeneven Bandiala.

Nitong Biyernes ng 6:55 ng umaga, July 29, binaril ang ama ni Yumol na si Rolando Yumol sa harap ng kanilang bahay sa Lamitan City, Basilan.

Tinatayang apat na bala ang kumitil sa buhay ni Rolando, na pinagbabaril ng isa sa dalawang hindi pa nakikilalang salarin na nakasakay umano sa isang motorsiklo.

Dinala pa sa Lamitan District Hospital ang biktima ngunit idineklara na itong dead on arrival.
