Isa si Ian Veneracion, 47, sa mga aktor na hinahangaan dahil sa pagpapahalaga sa kasagraduhan ng kasal at pamilya.
Si Ian ay may 25 taon nang kasal sa non-showbiz wife na si Pam Gallardo, na tila ilag sa spotlight dahil hindi ito makikita sa social media accounts ng aktor.
Mayroon silang tatlong anak: sina Tristan Draco, Deirdre, at Duccio.
Ayon kay Ian, tapat siya sa kanyang misis sa loob ng matagal nilang pagsasama.
Kaya sa social media ay may female netizens na pumupuri sa kanya at humihirit na sana ay makahanap din sila ng "Ian" sa buhay nila.
Reaksiyon dito ni Ian, "Of course, I'm not perfect.
"But I've been married for twenty-five years and parang mas gusto kong magbigay ng encouraging words kaysa sa some people do tsismis.
"I'm hoping in small way I can contribute. For example, I think it went viral, kunwari a conversation with my son, sinabi ko na, 'Madaling maging babaero, madaling mambabae.
"'Pero pag nahanap mo yung para sa iyo, it takes a real man [to be faithful in a relationship]. There's nothing cool about being babaero.'"
Pagpapatuloy ng aktor, "Hindi dahil sa nagmamalinis ako, pero alam ko na mahirap yun, e. I know because I have my own biological tendencies na temptations.
"I'm just trying to encourage others also and also myself. I'm trying to stay on track.
"So yun, instead na puro tsismis, puro negative stuff, I'd rather promote love and kindness than tsismis."
Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Ian sa presscon ng Prime Video digital series na One Good Day, na ginanap sa Seda Vertis North noong October 21, 2022.
Paano niya napaglalaban ang mga tukso, lalo't madalas ay tukso na mismo ang lumalapit sa mga tulad niyang artista?
Sagot ni Ian: "Ewan ko, iba-iba. Just like how you maintain patience, you control your temper.
"I guess, it's just the same, managing and practicing. It's never gonna be perfect but keep trying.
"For example, nakakita ka ng sexy, I mean, for million of years of evolution, man have eyes to look.
"I feel that, pero I can't choose that as an excuse all the time na, 'I know I'm born this way, blah, blah, blah.'
"Yun nga, just managing those intincts."
Nagbahagi rin ang aktor kung ano ang susi para maiwasang mauwi sa hiwalayan ang isang pagsasama.
"I'm not an expert on that," pasintabi muna ni Ian.
Patuloy niya, "I've been married for twenty-five years, but there are many factors.
"Number one, puwedeng napakahaba lang ng pasensiya ng asawa ko, or puwedeng sobrang magkatugma lang kami. Or puwedeng sobrang opposite lang kami kaya there's a certain balance.
"There are many factors... I don't know. Sa totoo, there's no one answer or one solution to that that will be applicable to everyone.
"I'm just lucky that so far [we're very much together], and sana tumagal pa nang tumagal.
"Pero sa ngayon, twenty-five years of being together, I'm so proud of that."
