Bumisita nitong nakaraang March 9, 2023 sina John Lloyd Cruz at rumored girlfriend nitong si Isabel Santos sa isang dog shelter dahil plano umano ng dalawa na mag-adopt ng aso.
Ayon sa post ng Strays Worth Saving (SWS) sa Facebook, personal daw na namili ang dalawa ng nais na ampuning aso mula sa mga na-rescue ng nabanggit na dog shelter.
Saad sa post, “SWS is blessed to have beautiful couple John Lloyd Cruz and Isabel visit the SWS shelter today!!!
"They are looking to adopt one of our rescues and there is no better way to do it than meet the candidates themselves.
“There is no denying not only the dogs but also the caretakers were so excited to meet our celebrity visitors!”
Nagpasalamat din ang SWS kina John Lloyd at Isabel dahil wala umano itong arte na nakipaglaro sa mga aso.
May isa pa nga raw sa mga ito ang aksidenteng naihian ang aktor.
Dagdag pa sa post, “Thank you so much for the visit!! I cannot contain my admiration as these two have no qualms at all carrying and playing with the rescues.
“One of our rescues, Rain, peed on John Lloyd's clothes and he had no complaint at all!
“They gamely posed with the dogs as they also want them to be adopted! Please accept our sincerest and humble thanks! May God bless you always!”
Huling nakitang magkasama ang dalawa nang dumalo ang rumored couple sa 15th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) noong November 11, 2022 sa Home of the Arts sa Gold Coast, Australia.
Nominado si John Lloyd sa nasabing award-giving body sa kategoryang Best Performance para sa kanyang pagganap sa pelikulang When The Waves Are Gone ni Lav Diaz.
Ang local title nito ay Kapag Wala Na Ang Mga Alon.
