From 38 contenders vying for the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 crown, the girls were immediately trimmed down to Top 18.

From the Top 18, the names of candidates who made it to Top 10 were announced: Pauline Amelinckx (Bohol), Michelle Dee (Makati), Samantha Panlilio (Cavite), Krishnah Gravidez (Baguio), Klyza Ferrando Castro (Davao Oriental), Christine Opiaza (Zambales), Jan Marie Bordon (Bacolod), Jannarie Zarzoso (Agusan Del Norte), Rein Hillary Carrascal (Sorsogon), and Airissh Ramos (Eastern Samar).
But due to "technical issues," the Top 18—not the Top 10—were asked to parade in their evening gowns.
Then came the Top 5, who willface the judges at the question-and-answer portion:

2. Angelique Manto (Pampanga)
3. Pauline Amelinckx (Bohol)
4. Christine Opiaza (Zambales)
5. Michelle Dee (Makati City)
