Kinumpirma ni Mavy Legaspi, 22, na "going strong" ang relasyon nila ng reel-and-real-life sweetheart na si Kyline Alcantara, 20.
"Yeah, definitely po,” nakangiting sabi niya sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Paglalarawan pa ni Mavy sa nobya, "I would say Kyline has been the best cheerleader."
Lalo raw niya iyong napatunayang sa kasagsagan ng pambabatikos na inabot ng bagong bihis na Eat Bulaga! sa GMA-7.
Si Mavy ay isa sa bagong hosts ng longest-running noontime show, at hindi maiwasang makumpara sila sa Dabarkads na tumiwalag sa show.

Pero todo raw ang suporta ni Kyline kay Mavy.
"She always messages me bago ako sumalang sa stage, all the time, every single day she messages me.
"She wishes me good luck and, of course, [she tells me], 'Just be happy. Don’t mind all the bashing.'
"Siya yong nagpapasaya rin sa akin besides yung mga messages ng mga magulang ko before we do live episode.
"Si Kyline, she keeps me calm, she keeps me focused sa trabaho ko."
Tinanong na rin ng PEP.ph si Mavy tungkol sa pagpayag niyang mapabilang sa bagong hosts ng Eat Bulaga!.
"I can’t speak for my sister. But for me, siguro, I’m very happy kung ano ang nagawa ko for the past few days.
"I always say na mas laging inuuna ko ang trabaho ko, and it’s always a learning lesson for me to always improve my skills," paliwanag ni Mavy.
Dagdag niya, "To make people happy, pagbibigay ng premyo. I was just called on for the job.
"Again, trabaho lang at ang priority ko palagi is my work and my improvement for the better future and ma-hone yung skills ko."
Hindi kaila na kontrobersiyal ang pag-alis nina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, at Joey de Leon sa noontime show.
Pero hindi raw ito ang pokus ni Mavy.
"Of course, there are times but I really chose not to,” saad niya nang tanungin kung nagbabasa siya ng comments ng netizens.
"Kung ano man yung comment nila is not really on me. It’s on another scale and hindi po ako kasali don.
"And as everyone says, like my my says, choose my battle. I’m just here to work."
ON working with his girlfriend kyline
Sa kabilang banda, ibinahagi ni Mavy ang mga nadiskubre niya kay Kyline sa pagtatambal nila sa bagong Kapuso prime-time series na LUV IS: Love at First Read.

Kuwento ni Mavy, "Palagi ko po itong sinasabi kay Kyline. Most especially, last night, binanggit ko kay Kyline na we did not only improve on the work side, we also improved on the personal.
"Kasi, nakita na namin yong safe space po namin individually and also, together. We respect each other."
Likas na "clingy" sila ni Kyline sa isa't isa, ayon kay Mavy.
Pero nadiskubre raw nilang magkaiba sila ng estilo pagdating sa trabaho, at aminado ang binatang mas matindi ang focus ni Kyline kapag oras na ng trabaho.
"Siguro kasi, kailangan kong doblehin yong effort. Kasi si Kyline, she kinda basa [the script] and then, she knows it already.
"For me, I have to take it longer. [Ako yung tipo ng] magbabato ng lines with our acting coaches.
"Minsan, nawawala niya yung chit-chat time sa work kasi focus siya sa work. Hindi naman siya nagtatampo. She respects my work ethics and ako rin naman."
Hindi kaila ang closeness ni Mavy sa mga magulang na sina Carmina Villarroel at Zoren Legaspi, kaya bukas si Mavy sa mga ito tungkol sa kanyang love life.
"Yes, most especially yung magulang ko, most especially my mom dahil nga mas...
"I would say, we’re close as a whole, pero mas combo kasi si Cass at si Dad, then ako and si Mom.
Ano ang say nina Carmina at Zoren sa relasyon nila ni Kyline?
Sagot ni Mavy, "Super protective siya pagdating sa mga babae. Pero lahat naman yon, kahit sino pa.
"But as long as they see na masaya ako and I know what I’m doing, I don’t give up my career for love or the other way around, I don’t give up love for my career, nakikita nila ang balance, that’s more important to them.
"And they respect who I adore, who I love. And I’m so thankful to them kasi hindi nila kinukuwestiyon or hinaharang. They just let me do what I want to do, but of course, with guidance.”

ON headlining a teleserye with kyline
Nagsimula na ang unang prime-time series na pinagbibidahan nina Mavy at Kyline sa GMA-7.
Kagabi, June 12, 2023, ang pilot telecast ng LUV IS: Love at First Read, ang ikalawang collaboration ng GMA Network at Wattpad WEBTOON Studios.
Hindi itinago ni Mavy ang excitement niyang mapakita ang chemistry nila ni Kylien on and off cam.
"Siyempre, this is our first lead teleserye po, Kyline and I, I’m very, very excited. It’s a different feel for me.
"Especially si Ky, she’s been doing teleserye for the longest time and I just came off from I Left My Heart in Sorsogon, second lead. But this one, talagang lead talaga.
"And I can’t wait for them to see who I am as an actor, how I am as leader, and how I am when I take the role na lead."
Ang timeslot na papalitan nila ay ang pansamantalang nag-season break na Family Feud, na nakapagtala ng consistent na mataas na rating. Hinost iyon ni Dingdong Dantes.
"We have Kuya Dong’s blessing,” sabi niya. “He’s also very excited about our show and when we guested in Family Feud recently, we talked about it and he really believes in it.
"And as much as he believes, the more that I believe in our show. I’m sure magugustuhan ng mga Kapuso.
"It’s really a very relatable show for all ages. The lead are Gen Z but the story is not for Gen Z only—for millennials, Gen X, everyone.”
