Nagdetalye si KC Concepcion kaugnay sa matibay na father-daughter relationship nila ng amang si Gabby Concepcion.
Si KC ay anak ni Gabby sa dating asawang si Sharon Cuneta.
Ani KC, hindi nagkukulang ang ama na iparamdam lagi sa kanyang nasa tabi niya ito sa tuwing kailangan niya ito.
Tinanong ni Gabby kay KC: “When did you feel you’re closest to me?”
Sagot ni KC: “You’re not just there for the good times. You’re really there for me when, like, in my lowest of lows.
“You don’t leave me. You’re always by my side. When I’m really low. So that’s how I know you really love me.
“Hindi lang dahil you have to [do it], kasi you’re my papa. But you really listen and you really know me. That’s so important for me.”

Binanggit din ni KC na tinitiyak ni Gabby na kinukumusta siya lagi ng ama.
“Every day talaga you know what’s happening to me. You just don’t wait for me to update you.
“You actually build a relationship na two-way. And that I really appreciate you for that.
“Kasi nga a relationship is a two-way street, even between parent and child.
“So, I really appreciate you for that," sabi ni KC kay Gabby.
KC SEES FATHER GABBY AS PERFECT
Sumunod na tinanong ni Gabby sa anak kung ano pa ang puwede niyang gawin para mas tumibay ang kanilang relasyon.
“Meron pa ba? Wala, Pa,” sagot ni KC.
Sinabi ni Gabby na hindi siya perpektong ama.
“Perfect ka for me,” tugon ni KC. “I think you’re really such a good father.
“My favorite thing about you is it’s never about money or material things talaga between us. It’s never about that.”
Ipinagpapasalamat daw ni KC na lagi siyang pinaglalaanan ng oras at effort ng ama.
“Hindi ko ever napi-feel, Pa, na you’re irritated kasi. I never felt na parang minamadali mo ako, kasi you’re busy doing something else, or ayaw mong ma-stress.”
Sa kaso naman ni Gabby, ipinagpapasalamat niya ang pagiging open sa kanya ni KC.
Sabi ng former matinee idol, “You’re also talkative. Nakakatakot kasi pag tahimik lang. Hindi mo alam kung anong nangyayari.
“When you open up, when you say things, then you know already.”
Sundot ni KC, “And, Papa, I open up to you. I tell you if something hurts me, di ba, I say it?”
Pagsang-ayon ni Gabby, “[When] You clamp up it worries me.”
Pinuri ni Gabby si KC sa pagiging successful nito pagdating sa karera at business kahit hindi niya ito tinuruan.
Sundot ni Gabby, “But one thing I always worry about is your happiness.
“I always want to know that whatever you do, you are happy.
“Whether it’s work, being with friends, having a relationship, just basically whatever you’re doing.”
