Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica have long been separated.
Despite this, supporters (and non-fans) of the two always find something to link the ex-couple any chance they have, especially on social media.
Apparently, Kylie had enough of this.
Addressing her fans and the public on X (formerly Twitter), Kylie wrote (as published), "Love you guys but please stop tagging me on my ex’s and his gf’s posts.
"Honestly kapagod ‘yung narrative. Please lng. Thank you."
"SOBRANG AWKWARD"
A follower of Kylie with the handle name wxcmbsg commented on her post.
She wrote, "Sending hugs ate kai, andito lang kami palagi para sa yo. Our Hara Amihan [heart emoji]"
Kylie replied, assuring her fan that she was fine and there was nothing to worry about.
"Actually I'm really ok. Lol may sarisarili na kaming buhay nakakatawa lang," explained Kylie.
"I don't need to know what my ex is doing just like anyone who has an ex LOL [LOL emoji]. Sobrang awkward dahil lahat kami artista."
Meanwhile, another fan asked, "They do [tag you]? I'm sorry about it Kai. Love you! Hugs!"
Kylie and Aljur got married in 2018 and have two kids, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo.
MOVING FORWARD AFTER THE SPLIT
The separation rumors involving Kylie and Aljur made noise in early 2021.
Both Kylie and Aljur were tight-lipped about the issue, triggering speculations and allegations of cheating.

A vlog interview of Robin Padilla, Kylie's dad, with entertainment reporter and manager Ogie Diaz in July 2021 confirmed the rumor.
Robin was not yet a senator at the time of the interview.
Robin unwittingly spilled the information, saying that the split was caused by a third party on Aljur's part.
“Meron daw, e. E, imposible ba yun? Hindi naman imposible yan. E, lalaki yan,” remarked Robin.
“Hindi yan pwedeng hindi mangyari. Kalokohan ang hindi mangyari [ang third party] lalo at nasa showbiz tayo."
Except for a brief moment where Aljur made a cryptic post insinuating that Kylie was the one who cheated first, the ex-couple avoided talking about their marital woes that led to the breakup of their marriage.
Aljur is now open about his relationship with sexy actress AJ Raval, occasionally posting photos of them together on social media.

Existential crisis
On July 18, 2023, Kylie took to Instagram to open up about her mental and emotional struggles following the end of her marriage.

Wrote Kylie, “I have been stuck in fight-or-flight since my very public separation from my ex, oh no worries. He and I are good.
“But I think I’m ready to move forward from all of that.
She added, "Frankly, that whole ordeal was so embarrassing and might I say traumatizing
"But here I am. Human. Imperfect. And yes, sometimes failing. But I think I’m ready to take risks again."
In a recent interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Kylie kept her lips sealed when probed if she's dating someone at the moment.
"Masaya ang puso ko. That's it," smiled Kylie.
She continued, still playing coy, "After kasi ng everything, gusto ko na munang i-private yon.
"Hanggang Instagram-Instagram muna kayo, guys."
