Netizens are amused to discover the funny side of Dennis Trillo through his TikTok videos.
Since opening his TikTok account in April 2022, the GMA-7 drama actor has amassed one million followers on the platform, and all of his videos have collectively received over 13 million likes.
Recently, Dennis joined the "Pogi, Sige Na!" trend, which features the viral hit "LDR" by teen OPM idol Shoti. The video has amassed over 20 million views since it was uploaded on July 27, 2023, making it Dennis' most-watched video.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Dennis said that he was quite amused by the netizens' reactions to his TikTok videos.
"Oo nga e, alam mo nakakatuwa... Natatawa rin ako sa mga pinaggagagawa ko, sa totoo lang," he told PEP.ph following his contract signing with Hey Pretty Skin last Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
Dennis mentioned that he particularly enjoys seeing people's reactions and comments on his videos.
He said, "Yung nakakatuwa yung pag nakikita ko yung mga reaction ng mga tao, yung mga comments nila.
"Kaya mas ginaganahan ako palagi na mag-upload kasi nga sarap din yung feeling na ano e, marami kang mapapatawa.
"Minsan, nababasa ko yung mga comments, 'Ang lungkot ko kanina, tapos nakita ko ito, biglang... muntik kong maibuga yung iniinom ko.' Yung parang ganun ba?"
Dennis added, "Nakaka-enjoy lang. Nakakasaya rin ng araw e, pagka ginagawa mo yun. Pagka nakita mong maraming natutuwa sa ginagawa mo.
"So, nakakatulong din yun sa akin para maging masiyahin."
Regarding his content strategy on TikTok, Dennis mentioned that he's actively involved in creating content for his account.
He also shared that he generally follows or joins the trends he notices within the younger generation.
"Kung ano yung naisipan ko [na content]... Minsan, titignan ko yung mga post ng mga ibang bata. So ano yung uso...
"Yung mga bata kasi di ba? Karamihan mga bata talaga yung nag-aral ng TikTok. Parang bihira yung mga matatanda. Meron, pero mas lamang talaga yung mga Gen-Z."

When asked about his purpose for creating his own account, Dennis attributed it to the encouragement he received from his wife Jennylyn Mercado and those around him.
Pointing at his managers, he said, "Ito, yung mga ito. Si Jan [Enriquez], si Kat [Aguila]. Si Jen [Mercado]. Si Tita Becky [Aguila]. Lahat sila..."
Jan Kristoffer Enriquez serves as the General Manager of Aguila Artists, while Kat Aguila, the daughter of seasoned talent manager Becky Aguila, currently holds the position of chief executive officer at the talent agency.

In addition, Dennis also recognized the popularity of TikTok as a prevailing social media platform.
"Wala, parang yun na yun, e. Sobrang dami ng subscribers sa TikTok. And ngayon, yun yung talagang tinitingnan na profile.
"Bukod sa Instagram, Facebook. Parang yun talaga, e."
Dennis also mentioned that he usually shows his funny side to the same group of people.
He said, "Kay Jen, sa pamilya. Yung mga kaibigan. Pili lang, pili lang. Masaya rin na kahit papaano nailalabas ko siya ngayon."
Dennis continued, "Kaya ngayon lang ako gumawa ng account kasi hindi ko talaga personality yung ganito na ipakita sa mga maraming tao."
