Sa hindi maipaliwanag na dahilan, napanaginipan ng former sexy actress na si Anna Leah Javier ang dati niyang karelasyon, ang aktor na si John Apacible, noong Linggo, September 3, 2023.
Si John ay ay pumanaw noong March 20, 2011 matapos barilin ng sarili niyang tiyo na si Armando Rustia habang nag-iinuman sa Cainta, Rizal.

Napansin din ni Anna Leah ang “unusually long display” ng September 3 date sa kanyang Echo show screen. Hindi muna niya ito pinansin hanggang sumagi sa isip ng dating aktres na iyon ang anibersaryo ng relasyon nila ni John noong nabubuhay pa ang aktor.
Hindi napigilan ni Anna Leah ang sariling magsulat ng saloobin nito tungkol kay John. Bilang respeto, hiningi niya ang permiso ng kanyang American-Greek husband na si Theo bago siya nag-post sa social media.
Lahad ni Anna Leah sa kanyang post, “It’s been 13 years since his passing, and I have more than “moved on” from all things “past, sad, and hurtful.
“It was never an easy process, but it was a process worth going through, bit by bit, for it made my present sweet and my anticipation of the future even sweeter.
“My Father has more than replaced what I have lost. I left everything I held dear for many years, but as I emptied, He filled and made all things new and beautiful for me. I am grateful. Forever.
“I am happily married to my Theo. We’ve been together for a decade now. Blessed with beautiful children, Anaya, Alexandros, Axilleas, and Alkis.
“I am raising a family with a man who’s not only a great husband, but also the best father my children could ever ask for. I have everything I need and more. It’s not perfect. It never will be. It’s what I prayed for. It’s peaceful. It’s complete. It’s imperfectly beautiful.
“But somehow, the face of my past still lingers. Somehow, John still randomly makes his presence in my dreams every once in a while—some brief, some remarkably vivid and grand. I usually take it as normal.
“Ten years I have spent with him before he’s gone. And just last night, he showed up… again. My usual self would dismiss the thought, but today was different.
“My bathroom “Echo” showed a September 3 bold display on the screen for a good hour without changing. Only after I noticed and thought of a “significance” that it changed display, and I thought it was odd.
“Then, a realization. That basketball jersey he wore before. I remember. It would have been our 20th anniversary today! I whispered a prayer. I let go of some precious tears. I sent him my love, wherever he is.
“I shared this with my husband before this post. The beauty of having someone mature and confident beside you. I could tell him everything, and he perfectly understands."

“My daughter’s turning 12. Almost 13 years now since he passed away.
"Yes, I was 2 months pregnant when he died and I just knew I was with a baby. He didn’t know,” pahayag ni Anna Leah nang makausap siya ng Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) ngayong Lunes ng umaga, September 4, 2023.
Nang mamatay si John, lumipad si Anna Leah sa New York para makasama ang kanyang pamilya. Doon na rin niya isinilang si Anaya noong November 2011.
“I left the Philippines because my family’s here and they did not want me to go through everything alone.
“I was planning to return after I gave birth but it turned out God had a different plan for me. I could not leave Anaya for anything anymore.
"I just decided to stay and be with her, start anew and I did. I live a private life now," pagbabahagi niya.
Hindi inilihim ni Anna Leah kay Anaya ang katotohanan. Alam ng kanyang panganay na anak na si John ang ama nito.
"She's an everyday reminder of how he looks like," sabi pa ni Anna Leah tungkol sa malaking pagkakahawig ng anak sa yumao nitong ama.
Kamakailan lang, sinabi ni Anaya kay Anna Leah ang kagustuhan nitong makauwi sa Pilipinas para makilala ang ibang mga kamag-anak nila.
“Anaya knows everything. I didn’t hide anything from her. Especially now. She reads, too.
“Hindi pa siya nakakauwi ng Pilipinas. She wants to, though.
“I was waiting for a time when she’d tell me she wants to go to the Philippines and she recently expressed, she’d want to see her family in the Philippines,” pagbabahagi ni Anna Leah.

Maligaya at tahimik nang namumuhay sa New York si Anna Leah, kapiling ang asawa at apat na naggagandahang mga anak. Taus-puso ang kanyang pasasalamat sa Panginoong Diyos dahil sa kapayapaang natagpuan niya.
“I’m grateful. They’re beautiful and very good kids. They’re very close too.
“I’m at peace. One thing I never had before. To say that I am very happy is an understatement,” sambit ni Anna Leah.
Nilinaw ni Anna Leah na wala sa kanyang mga anak ang gustong mag-artista at hindi rin daw niya gustong mapunta ang mga ito sa mundo ng showbiz. Pero pag-amin niya, "they're never short on looks."
